It's not a true technique in Q3A for advanced sniping. It's much easier to just aim due to having precise equipment instead of relying on things like aim assist.
What the hell do you call it then when you sweep across the screen and rail someone? Sweep Sniping!, so it does exist on PC, no?
It's not a true technique? That's the way I do it, and it's easily my best weapon.
Everything he has said has solid proof behind it.
LOL! He said Halo 2 takes zero skill, yet you said it does take a lot of skill, just that AA brought its potential down. Where is the truth in his statement? Sounds more like an opinion than anything...I said that he has evidence to back up his claims. It is his opinion that Halo 2 has 0 skill, but he does have an educated opinion on the matter.
What I meant by it not being a true technique is that none of the professional/skilled players of Q3A use "sweep sniping" while using the Railgun. There is absolutely no use in it seeing as though you can be absolutely precise with mouse. The reason sweep sniping exists at all is due to the fact you can't rely on the controller for precise aiming and instead have to rely on reaction time which doesn't take much due to AA. None of that is a problem in Q3A so it's impractical. I think you might be confusing it with twitching which is where you move your cursor as fast as you possibly can and precisely hit an enemy, not sweeping over them and timing the shot right.
