The bible is the best book Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I AM A PROUD CHRISTIAN. HALO IS AWESOME BUT GOD IS MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!
Did you knew that JESUSdied for you?

Just some questions about the rules I have. (normally I stay out of trouble )

1.- If someone post in a wrong forum/breaks the rules unknowingly are we allowed to tell them in order to help them or is that against the rules?

2.-If a user starts to insult or name call another user are we allowed to report it to the mods?. I ask this becuase in other forums like tv tropes people get banned for being agresive and/or get their post thumped.

Yarr, I'm a pirate.

You can tell people that they're in the wrong. It's called forum copping but it's not against the rules.

Yes, you can report users for violating the play nice rule (or love thy neighbor). You probably won't see a ban for it, but possibly a warning instead.

Generally, yes. We prefer you PM them or report the thread and leave it to us. Though we don't usually warn or ban people if they're trying to be helpful, unless the initial violation was so egregious that bumping it with a reply perpetuates it. I'd suggest not replying at all, but most of us usually won't warn or ban if you're being respectful, helpful and nice.

You should absolutely report flaming/trolling/namecalling. You can report anything that you think violates the rules. We'll sort it out in the end. So, don't be afraid to report.

This is also not true. You can be banned for reporting too many posts.
You can be banned for abusing the report feature. Unless you're offended by every thread you see, you won't run much of a risk of being banned for abuse. Simply reporting things you think are violations are very unlikely to get you banned, unless again you report everything.

I acknowledge that possibility. I would just like to let everyone know that its not at all probable. Like winning the big jackpot in a lottery. It has happened, it will happen to some, but not the VAST majority of us. It usually requires some strong indicators that there was intentional abuse.

Keep in mind that if you choose to "help" the offending user, you should REALLY make sure you are correct before posting your answer. I usually give warnings to those that post the wrong information.

Also, being nice when doing so goes a long way. You're just being a jerk when you say, "Community Forum," or "Communtiy Forum is ------------> way."

I wouldn't say it's being a forum cop 100% of the time. I like seeing other members being helpful when it's done tactfully. It just shows how great of a community we have here.
