Subject: Dear Bungie,

tldr: Reach requires maintenance

Well, I just checked the site out + it seems like the full title is:

halo2sucks (but only in comparison to halo 1)

There seems to be some good discussion over there (only popped in for a short time) + they have a search button (always helpful when trying to get info or to not repeat the same threads)

In fact I read one thread where someone was saying they should use the halo3sucks name already, part of his post was moderated + he/she was give a final warning for flaming.

If h3 has a level of depth similar to h1 with also the ability to alter the ease of use of h2 (for the fps first timers + the "pro's" ;) then I wouldn't be surprised if their name ended up being changed to halo3rocks, halo3owns or something similar.

You suck, just like your mom.

That trailer ruled.

The Gunshark360, one of the kiddies that has been blindly flaming halo2sucks.com members in this thread, posted the above quote in another thread in response to a guy who had some minor criticism for the Halo 3 announcment trailer.

This just goes to show you the level of maturity/intelligence of some of the people in this thread and on these forums.

No, but I think you can hear it.

It's like a faint whine.

I am a member of h2sucks.com. I have noticed that the assault rifle is making a possible comeback in Halo 3.

I think I speak for h2sucks.com when I say, "Thank you very much." It has been a great relief over at h2sucks.com to see that you, Bungie, have restored a part of Halo 1's traditional classic feeling to Halo 3. The absence of the AR from Halo 2 has been the cause of long and tormenting debates on the h2sucks.com forum, and that argument has even plagued b.net several times. Now that argument shall starve and die. And so shall h2sucks.com's Bungie-bashing.

They may not want to apologize for bashing in the past...but I will represent them and say "We apologize for the crap we have tossed at you." It was our fault that we judged you too quickly and assumed that Halo 3 would not seem good at first. It seems we were wrong after all. IT has brought great appreciation to the many members of h2sucks.com to see that Bungie has brought back a souvenir from halo 1 to place in the third game. They may not individually thank Achronos or the rest of Bungie for revealing this feature to us...but like I said, in this thread I am representing h2sucks.com. Pretend that my apology and "thank yous" are those of h2sucks.com and not just myself. They may not want to show their thanks...but believe me, they are happy campers over there. :)

So, everyone, all together...THANKS FOR T3H RETURN OF THE ASSAULT RIFLE, BUNGIE!

Sorry that I didn't put this in the original "thank you" thread. I felt the need to make a separate thread because, well...this thread shows that another site is grateful that a piece of their favorite game is reappearing. They have all been reassured that Bungie cares not only about fans, but about those who criticize, and that is a big commitment on Bungie's part; very rarely will someone listen to another that bashes him/her. You have also shown us, Bungie, that you still do care about your older games, Halo in particular. :) That is good to know. Can't wait for the next update.

Goodnight, and h2sucks.com gives their thanks!

You know what? I can't speak for bungie, but I can say that the regulars here at Bungie.net don't want your thanks. All last year all we heard was Halo2sucks.com's droning on and on and on and on about the problems with the game.

You wore your colors on your sleave, don't think you can that patch off.

Has it occurred to you that this may have nothing to do with Halo: CE at all? Can you accept that? Bungie has obviously moved on, why can't you?

And it never occured to you that maybe that was intentional. Maybe, Just maybe, we wanted people to go "hmmm, they cant believe that, NO WAY!" then go into the forum, and see how we really felt.

Think of it like the E3 trailer for halo2. It grabbed your attention, but we you got the game, it had major differences then what had been advertised.

What is wrong with you people? He expresses his opion about a video game and you jump down his throat like he just killed your cat or something. Listen to yourselves. IT IS JUST A GAME! You don't need to insult people just because they have a different opion then you. I think some people here need to read the first amendment again.

He did try to move on by apologizing. You are the one stuck in the past.
