I agree on everything.
I find it hard to believe that Bungie manage to screw up so badly with reach. I can understand if Reach is their first Halo game. But screwing up on your last Halo game is just sad. They should already know what, and what not to do.

Why do you still play it?

Seriously you've played almost 5,000 games. I couldn't stand to play 100 until the TU which made the game somewhat tolerable.

I could type a similar list of issues with any multiplayer game given enough time to become acquainted with it. This list means nothing.

There are only three real problems with Reach. The people who play it, the way it matches them up and the spawn system it uses.

Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

I can agree with a good chunk of it, but others look a lot like you are just trying to add to it to compensate for a smaller list.

@Puma - no, they are not "real" issues. There is always a level of luck involved in a battle, I don't see it being much higher with the DMR than it was with the BR, it's just a different kind of luck now. The Battle Rifle had bullet spread and was entirely reliant on who fired the first shot which when introduced to the realities of online gaming and Halo 3's rather laggy nature led to a lot of luck based games.

Armor Lock can be countered. I've yet to witness an Armor Lock user do well in a game or an entire team win one by using it. The most I've seen them do is frustrate my team a little and earn a few rejection medals.

I've got some stuff to toss on.

-cannon crushing campaign
-Elites were put in but are hardly used
-no co-op species anymore
-customs updates removing Elites
-covenant weapons are generally worse than their UNSC counterparts
-customs being broken,i.e Juggernaught
-Headhunter, Stockpile, Juggernaught, are jokes in customs and MM
-Absence of VIP
-phantom bullets coming from corpses often(especially in close DMR battles)
-rigged rock paper scissor vehicle combat system
-TU(it was good, but it wasn't what Reach needed)


There's some more to toss on the pile.

If this was true, the BR would have no skill gap. The DMR is more luck based due to the inconsistencies of bloom anyway.
