In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Sure, it's a pretty mean thing to say, but I don't think it's breaking any rules...
There is a unstated rule "don't be a jerk" and there are times when it is best to keep personal comments like that to yourself.
I can go into this deeper:
- The poster obviously did not care about the thread and gave his personal opinion which ended up being spam becuase it did not really contribute to the topic.
- The users comment also was offensive becuase of the threads nature and could easily be considered flaming or "being a jerk".
The replies to the comment could also be considered as flaming or "being a jerk". They also contribute to the spam. So should we ban everyone who quoted him and told him what they thought of his comment? I mean, they contributed to the spam too. Why shouldn't they be banned?
Yes, and that is what is called a carpet ban which occurs when someone makes a comment JUST like that one and ruins the whole thread.
In a situation like that, everyone could be banned or the original poster can be banned and the thread is locked and people are given warnings.
