Subject: The Future For B.net Mobile....

Spread the love...

I'm surfing the forums on a mobile phone right now and it's pretty slow. I'd really like a more basic b.net with just forums and an inbox for mobile use.

How about you?

Same here, I think it was mentioned a while back that this idea was in the works.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Yeah, on the current mobile b.net, you can't get to forums without going to the full screen.

I hope so.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

For a moment I thought you were talking about Batman's car.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

I've experienced the forums on 3G and WiFi - I haven't really had any issues. I used to have gripes, but after the minor update I noticed (so much easier to click forums and group home page links) no issues. I haven't had an issue with speed at all unless I have a lot running in the background.

Now, as far as mobile forums, you can count me in; it'd make coming here on a mobile its own little experience, or as some would say "fun". . . I mean, fun. . . I mea- actually, I have no idea what I mean - but it would be sweet to have 'em!

Not everyone has access to a computer at all times

I use Opera Mini to surf Bnet all the time. Not really a huge problem, except the moderation system doesn't really work on my phone. Works in Safari, though.

No one needs to have access to B.net at all times.

You people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.

Some people on this site would beg to differ. Of course they are also the ones who make a ass load of threads and get burned out and never come back.

Screw em. I agree with bread.

This is true, however there are a lot of people sitting on their iTouch or smartphones and the forums sometimes take ages to load. Besides, what would be wrong with having mobile forums? I doubt it would affect you negatively.

They have one that is meant for browsing but not one for posting. I really want to see something like this soon.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

Wifi iPad here, it's nice but I don't really consider it a mobile device like an iPhone since the site is still in regular browsing format.

When are we getting that ignore button, again?

When I use the full site on my iPhone I've been experiencing crashes lately and I'm not sure why. Although I would love a "forums" option on the mobile version so I don't have to use extra battery going to the "full site".

  • 12.29.2011 7:20 PM PDT

I always use my iPhone to log in and I've experienced no site issues, I do clear my cache and history every night out of habit.

  • 12.29.2011 7:50 PM PDT

Who the hell do you think I am?

A mobile forum would actually be pretty handy.

The app should be enhanced to give the full B.net effect
You know what they call the app with the full b.net effect? Your -blam!- browser.

The future of the mobile site is the same as the future of all mobile sites - in the bin. Mobile devices are more than powerful enough and all sport browsers and screens more than capable [in theory] of handling the full version of any site as well as a less mobile computer will. Developing mobile sites and apps as frontends for sites is nothing but a monumental waste of time. It's quicker and easier to wait for those users who insist on using out-of-date technology to stop toting their iPhone 3GS as if it's not obsolete.

It is not that it takes a long time to load for me, it is the fact that the user interface and design of the full site is not feasible for that small of a screen.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.
