Bohemia interactive partnered with Red Storm entertainment and proudly presented by 343 industries with EA Dice, the world of Halo as you have never played nor envisioned it before.

Halo Tactical (combat re-evolved?)

The frenecity and immersion of Bohemias Arma, coupled with the proffesionelism and planning of Red storms Rainbow games, supported with the feature set of Dice's Battlefield. The collaboration of a lifetime, the battle to end all battles.

Have you read the Halo novels? Seen Legends, and wondered what it would be like to actually play in those hyper-realistic sandboxes?

The advanced methods listing below is a best of scenario, and therefore should be treated as such, though satisfaction could easily be attained with a simplified/streamlined iteration for today's gaming landscape.

Weapon customisation: Including fire select, cam schemes, attachments, calibre alterations, stock, fore-end, muzzle etc.

Bullet simulation: Bullet penetration, bullet drop, ricochet system, deflection, near miss damage (tree spinters)

Weapon modeling: Jam and fouling system, degredation, mag and casing discard builup, round selection HP/AP/HE/INC/HV/FMJ.

Camouflage: Urban hides, ghillie suites, uniform swaps, hide in sand, water and mud etc. Analogue and digital modes.

Highly destructable sprawling environments: Entire regions of engagement zones, full building/terrain/tree/vehicle damage.

Squad commands: Squad member/leader/commander modes, voice based gui support, Squad battle commander overview viewpoint.

Unyeilding damage moddeling: Injury and blood loss, movement loss and adrenalin hightening, dismemberment and maiming.

Vast toolset of land/air/sea vehicles and weapons: UNSC, covenat, Insurrectionist, rock/paper/scissor counter system.

Drop in/out Co-op: Local and online squad system, server browser, live game viewer functionality, buddy system.

Unrivalled interactivity: Context sensitive movement and traversal system, dynamic cover intuition, climbing and ascent.

AI and PVP support: Whether it be story mode, skirmish, or objective based modes, AI for training/practise and VIP duties.

Fictional War: Spartan vs all modes, and UNSC or Covie in fighting support, ODST ultra realism setting, In-depth options.

Dynamic never ending universe: Player made scenarios/universe, Naval warfare expansion and Tactical plug-in support for ground battles ( MAC round support). [requires balance testing]


The above awesomeness is a work of fantasy/happenstance and should above game ever be made it would be GREATEST.GAME.EVER. That is all! Feel free to weigh in and add suggestions, or am I alone in my delusion of grandeur?

If only their community and forums were as good as Bnet, alas, not so. I am aware though, but I will always attribute Halo to Bungie and rightfully so. Tell you what if it gets made as first post and a nice one at that I'll thank you in the credits, and maybe your input, fancy being a QA tester?

Also I liked the ability to spot enemies and it would appear on other minimaps. Aswell as being able to have mini drones and little cameras.

One thing I have yet to see in a game is an epic battle with hundreds of troops.

All that proves is that there is a market, just needs to get made. Granted, though, but mine is better.

I wouldn't drop this kind of verbatim in the middle of someonelses thread, if it was much more similiar to this one I happily would, a wishful paragraph doesn't, doesn't count.

As do I, I would say that would be a commander trait, though.
Communication and teamwork would require a good commander, who infact doesn't play but has a permanent overview which is fed by the ground troops. Whether that be eyes-on spots, UAV monitoring or satellite feed, all running to his screen.
