You are simplifying this down way too much.. Bloom has a lot more than just option A or B.

RC Clone is the anti-thesis of a lurker.

The construction of the OP tells me which side OP is on.

Bloom is like Russian roulette, the only skill it takes is luck......or host...........could you imagine playing Russian roulette on host, you would eat so many shots.

Player A responds: ok first off bloom does add skill because anyone could be good with a BR, but only pros could be good with a DMR. think really hard about it.

Wow. Not even worth the effort.

Obviously it's true because every player can perfectly keep their aim on an enemy when said is enemy is flying around in reverse circles while Ghandi hopping at the same time said player is doing the same. OP did it all the time in Halo 3.

Spartans are from Venus and Elites are from Uranus

It's really not that simple. I feel bloom does add some level of skill to the game but I also feel it slows the game down, which I find to be a determent.

Ultimately it feels like the guns control the players and not the other way around. People want to be in control, so a more traditional aiming down the sights system would have been more desirable.

Either way I feel bloom should go. Either go back to how aiming used to be in Halo or use the massively adopted aiming down the sights system. Probably the latter, I don't know to many people who like scoping by clicking the sticks in,

Halo wouldn't be Halo with ADS.

I still don't see what the BR has anything to do with the skill it takes to use a DMR. A DMR is hit-scanned, a BR is not. A DMR is single shot, a BR is burst shot. They have nothing in common. But I will say this, strafe is EVERYTHING.

DMR with bloom: No need to aim at enemy.

DMR with bloom: Need to aim at enemy.

Nuff Said.

TU no bloom is so easy. That's why this clip isn't special at all in any way.

OP does this in MLG all the time.

People only say that because Halo's biggest competitor uses it.

Player A responds: well look at it like this: straight shooting gun that will always hit even if you suck with it. DMR: you must time you shots to actually get the kill. you guys are obviously noob who died while trying to use bloom so you gave up with it.
Oh lawdy..

You say the BR is easy, yet I can't count how many times I've seen people who have to 6-8 shot cause they have the worse aim. Strafing also makes the difference between an OK BR and a good BR.

The only time pacing does anything is cross map Hemorrhage, any other range you can just crouch and start firing away. Timing your shots will only get you killed by people who ignore bloom and just spam. I can just keep hitting the trigger and I'll put out more shots than you if you were pacing, which increases the chances of me landing a shot.

Consistency >>>>>>>>>>> inconsistency

So having your shot not go where your reticle is pointing at with a precision weapon is better than having it land where you're aiming? Hmmm...
