My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

Really, though. MLG is an organization that promotes hoarding power weapons, breathing heavily, and camping.
Now, now, you want to debate this, do you?
MLG Pit:
1 rocket launcher
2 sniper rifles.
Default Pit/Pit Stop:
1 Rocket launcher
2 sniper rifles
1 Energy Sword
2 Shotguns
MLG Sanctuary:
2 sniper rifles
Asylum:
2 sniper rifles
2 shotguns
1 Energy Sword
I could do this all day. Power weapon "whoring" is more prevalent in default gametypes. Even though such a notion is ridiculous considering it's a weapon that should be fought for, timed, and earned.
Sorry, I'm not going to put down the rocket launcher because I think I've killed you enough with it. That's not the way the world works, killer.
Map movement:
Default: Motion sensor
MLG: No motion sensor
The presence of a motion sensor at higher levels promotes more camping (see: single digit Onyx Arena). In MLG, however, you are relying entirely on your buddies to get your back, to make callouts, and essentially act as your motion sensor. You aren't supposed to search alone because you're putting yourself at a disadvantage.
In your defense, I think you may be confusing camping with a setup, where certain people are tasked with holding down and keeping an eye on a certain part of the map. It's a rookie mistake, I can't hold that against you.
As for the more subjective things like "tryhards", well, they are in all playlists. MLG is just more difficult so the more skilled players tend to play it. People tend to confuse the word "tryhard" (a stupid misnomer) with someone who is just good at the game.
Are there any further ignorant points of view that you need debunking?
