"Find The Bomb?!
Find The Bomb?!
I'm Looking For The Flag!
What The Heck Is Assualt!?"

I recently inputted my group into my URL to go directly to it. For a second the phrase, "This is Sinful" popped up on my tab as the name of the page before I was redirected to the normal page.

Is this simply something linked to the random phrases they have for page descriptions for the home page, if it is I'm surprised because I had no interaction with the home page what so ever.

Do you know about time travel?

I have never seen that before. It is probably just another one of those phrases Bungie put's on the website to be funny.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Some people think Destiny is part of the same universe as Marathon, Pathways, and Halo. Like they are all part of the same timeline.

OT: Anyway, if what you say is true Buggy, have you attempted to replicate the result at all?

Patheays into Darkness is the "Reach" of the Marathon series. Halo could be part of the Marathon Saga becuase it takes place 300 years before any events in Marathon.

People have been trying to prove it for 10 years. I see it pop up in the Universe forum from time to time made by those people who know the ancient ways.

I think those sayings coming up is mighty interesting. Bungie
always like hiding things around Bungie.net for us.

And, maybe the little things like that have some meaning to them we don't know about or it is an inside joke.

"This is Sinful" is not a Bungie phrase I am familiar with. Many of their phrases have to do with stuff inside their games or a joke that pertains to Bungie.

People are trying to force a connection through something that isn't there, hoping to make it work. Not lets knock off the bull-blam!- and discuss the specific's of Buggy's query, which kinda sounds like creepypasta. <_<

I am curious to what it means or the implications of having it appear when you put in a URL for a group. I didn't know messages appeal when you do group URLS and I don't think "This is Sinful" is a know message to pop-up on the header.

My immediate thought when I read "this is sinful" is that it sounds Disembodied Soul-ish, like it might be the title for an error page or something?

But the error page is a drunk webmaster, not the soul currently.

Google yields no help.

However, there is the possibility that the page you got redirected to might be in one of the directories that Google's not allowed to crawl. Google's not allowed to crawl:
/App_Themes/
/App_Code/
/App_Browsers/
/account/

/javascript/
/MasterPages/
/passport/
/resources/
/rightboxs/

Could you have come across any of those while trying to go to your group? The only one that I would think is /fanclub/.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

Confused :\

Take a screenshot next time.

Does /coudbungie/ count?

Anyways, Play by play:

1. Click on URL of a blank tab

2. Type "B"

3. Multiple Bungie.net pages open

4. Scroll down to coup D Bungie and select it

5. Begins loading

6. Name of the tab switches to: "This is Sinful" Briefly

7. Loads and name goes to "Bungie.net: Coup D Bungie :..."

What are you babbling about now, ken? That has nothing to do with the phrase "This is Sinful". A real conspiracy theory related even slightly to this thread would be:

Destiny, while still being bungie's token science-fiction-ARG-type-game, will also include religious and mythic symbols. Or, perhaps will have to do heavily with morality in some way. Or, a morally egregious action/event is a major plot point.
