Subject: How high could spartans jump without their armor?

Random point, I have a 28 inch vertical and that's considered pretty good.

Michael Jordan is also often called one of the best vertical jumpers in the world, with 48 inches, and Kadour Ziani holds the record at anywhere between 55-60 inches. (it's not well documented for some reason)

So the BEST vertical jumper is about 5 feet, I'd assume genetically modified super humans could jump 8-10 feet, which in Halo 2 and Halo 3 seemed about what they had Chief's jump height to be. And HaloCE seemed at about 6-8 considering Mark V, so it looks like the games (for once) do match the physics of the books fairly well considering the game format.

Partial reason is because the armor but most of it is because they were augmented half the people here dont know anything about the augumetation. If you got Reach in legendary edition and read Dr. Halsleys journal you would understand.

(Were just getting started)

Spartan IIs jump higher when wearing their Mjolonir suits.

That's the whole point of wearing an exoskeleton suit. You don't wear one to impede you movement. You wear one to boost your movement to superhuman levels.

As for Spartan IIIs, they don't have any of the fancy perks that IIs have, so they jump more or less the same as a fit, human athlete.
And you mean perks as in?
Perks as in that the Spartan IIs got better bio-augmentations and their suits are better.

bio-augmentations are not better, armors are though.

Bio-augmentations weren't better?

I was under the impression that Spartan IIIs were by purpose, lesser units so that they could be more cheap to produce.

It is my latest cultural research project! By randomly saying LOLWIN to semi-funny replies on the Halo 3 forum, I hypothesize that a temperary self-esteem boost will be present.

And once they read this, they will be a little worse off than before.

Their height was not modified, but otherwise they got the same augmentations, even the enhanced skeleton which would allow them to wear the Mjolnir armor. The later generation spartan 3s even got additional augmentations which allowed them to sustain massive amounts of trauma without going into shock and allowed them better cope with the stresses of combat. The problem is that it resulted in mental instability.

It's the prestige that makes the illusion.

they jump around 4 meters high (read the Fall of Reach)

They were cheaper because they didn't get MJOLNIR, that was the thing that made the Spartan II's so expensive, but augmentations wise and training (actually, that goes for the Spartan III's, a harder training regime, more focused on battler than the Spartan II's) wise, they are the same.

They'd jump lower because of the way Mjolnir increases reflexes and strength. It's stated multiple times that john feels naked without his armour on.

Yummy.

We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

They wouldn't jump the same as they do now, all though I have no idea what they would jump with out there armor.

I am alpha, i am omega.

I am the last of the primes.

Would you please just shut up already you don't have to go into every single thread and attack every single post of mine in every single forum on this entire freaking site. God you're like my annoying seven year old brother...

Bro. What the -blam!- is your problem? This is the second time I see you getting pissed of and insulting another member here for the most innocent thing. Any opinion contrary to yours, you take it as an offense. Do you have socializing problems or something? Are you not used to talking to someone else?

What is this I dont = I dont understand, or this dosent make sense.

Is that really attacking you?
Seriously, you need to calm the -blam!- down or get the -blam!- out of here. We dont need your bull-blam!- here, and less if you're not even helping this forum with good threads and good opinions.
