Subject: Disturbingly Funny Bungie/Bungie.net ads...

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

After coming back from THAT part of the internet, I have uncovered some "strange" ads made by Bungie. Some of the ads really show Bungie does what they want. >:D

You think you REALLY want to be a Bungie game tester?

Bungie games can kill you :p

This is a hotdog

You have been warned

Play... FOREVER

I would <3 to see these dark humor ads come back. >:)

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

So this is what Bungie didn't want us to see.

Looks like Luke Smith has been..."busy."

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

Those are awesome! I wish Bungie would do more of these for us.

Best of random chance

I wish we had a "Thumbs Up" feature, that way we could support threads like these without posting uselessly.

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

Active 9/1/11, Heroic 12/25/12

Cool find, it would be awesome if they created more like these.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

Really great thread, Ken. I've never seen or heard of any of these 'dark adverts' before. Good stuff.

I'd love to see one or two similar dark adverts, such as these, to spin around during Destiny's marketing campaign.

You think this is weird, try following the story. You could write thesis papers on what the story is about in Marathon infinity.

Either Jason Jones is a complete genius, was drunk, or both at the sae time.
