Do you know about time travel?

I think that everything else that doesn't pertain to the blue flames icon is not needed. As someone else said "simplicity." I think blue flames will do just fine not all the other colors nor the orange septagon.

No. The whole point of the icons is for instant visual identification. You look at it and before you think, you see the orange color of the flames and think "lots of posts". Or you see the green color and immediately you think "new replies". Mixing up the colors would only serve to confuse people.

Dumbest, tackiest idea ever proposed. Congrats.
Alright, you're not happy with it. I see that.

deej pls

I think it should go blue at 500 replies, and nothing more, nothing less. This system works, and there is no point in that many. Ninja posts wouldn't work either, as they post alot. It would take away from having the cooler emblem.

the only problem i have with mine is that it's unstable,[very shakey],so you'd need a tripod for it.

Just drink a beer and everything will be ok

Not sure if it's been said but generally, most threads of 200+ replies would have a ninja or an employee post in them - changing the icon to orange, yellow septagon.

I've heard this idea before and I still like it. 250 replies sounds like a good milestone for a topic to go blue.

Here is a quick chart that I whipped up with some new forum Icons that could be added.

NEW FORUM ICONS

Let me know if there is anything I should add or change.

Gee, that's just what we need, even more reasons for people to spam a thread to make it a "hot topic". There's a reason it shares a name with that loathsome shopping chain.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Judging by the temperature at which fire burns, those icons are correct.
Thou hath mine vote.
