"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

Well played, OP.

If you are watching this you have clicked on my profile or stolen this. I dont know why you would do that...

About me? I love Astronomy, I like to play guitar and watch anime. My future lies in Astronomy and so does the future of all of humanity. You should join my Astronomy group Space Explorers.

Well, I did make a judgement, but then I saw your name and thought that you wouldn't do this, and I was right. It is difficult to not make a judgement before you click a thread, but it easily changes for me after I have read through the OP or whole thread.

And one thing I dislike is when I send someone a group invite and they don't even bother looking at the message. They seem to think that every group is bad so it isn't worth spending 5 seconds to look at it.

Whoo.

I don't see how, I am judging a thread based off how it advertises itself, if there's a building with "cinema" written on the front I won't expect to go inside and find an amusement park.

If you're reading this, congratulations. You've just pressed a button to find out a little bit more about me. Not that you will, but well done anyway.

Its easy to judge a book by it's cover, and all of us do it. It is the only way we can form an initial opinion; like when you meet a person for the first time. Even though you know you shouldn't, you do invariably form an opinion on that person/object/subject within seconds based on your first thoughts about it.

Its just the way we as human beings are. Can't change it.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

I came here because I saw you posted it, and I know you are a member trust worthy, and it wouldint be a stupid group that you'd be promoting.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

You're stupid and your group is stupid...

Oh wait what was this thread about?

If you're not suppose to judge a book by its cover, then why do people spend loads of money researching into making an attractive cover for customers? Why not just leave it blank?

How many of you made a judgement before you even clicked on the thread?

I didn't.
I saw you were the op before I clicked on it, and I knew you wouldn't advertise a group here.

Everyone is entitled to their own wrong opinion.

I'm part of the Bungie.net Minecraft group/server called SeptaCrafters
We're a Bungie.net group that goes to our very own Bungie server. Most players are from the Halo community either off Bungie itself or through word to Halo friends.

I don't join a group unless I'm looking for it or a friend invites me.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

I saw who the author of the thread was, and I thought it was going to be good. I was not disappointed.

So you did already have a judgement, non?

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

People are supposed to make judgments based on the title and it is the OP's job to make a well-worded title that accurately describes his thread.

  • 12.31.2011 12:41 PM PDT

Basically, I make the best topics ever.

Feedback!
Duardo: This thread is locked for being stupid.
cortana 5 : It's perpetually my time of the month and I'm just grouchy.
Foman: I see absolutely no reason, either theoretical or practical, that this is not a superb idea. Excellent work, my friend.

I read the entire OP...

NO ADVERTISING GROUPS.

Key

What the hell are you talking about? Of course I judged this before seeing it. I'm not going to go into a thread called "Only little kids play Team Snipers because they are -blams!-" and expect it to be a civilized discussion about how to improve Living Dead maps.

If you make a title sound like your post is off-topic/stupid, I'm going to assume as much.

  • 12.31.2011 1:09 PM PDT

Judging a book by its cover is usually a good way to see if it is worth your while, even if people say otherwise.

If a man walks on the street with a sign that says "No food, no money, no home and nowhere to go. Please, help!" is it wrong for me to believe he's poor and in need of help?

Threads are supposed to have titles that refer to the type of content in them, topics aren't books, we don't name them to sound cool like the sanguine feud or the last pawn, we name them them for function like "Avatars and user skins" or "how do you pronounce DeeJ's name?".

If the thread's title/subject line doesn't cover the discussion, then the whole thread is off topic. Use common sense. We judge such things, because we have a brain.

You wouldn't read a book named (Insert vile concept here) would you? Same goes for thread titles.

Came into the thread, thought "This won't end well" and clicked the report button. Just as I was about to confirm the report, my eyes darted across the opening sentences in the OP and I realised the OP was baiting.

Some could call him a master baiter.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.
-TGP-

We obviously associate the thread title to what the body of text will be. It's not being judgmental if you blatantly say something in the thread title.
