That Halo 2 trailer was great. Talk about pumping us up. Shame it never happened.

A Guide to Networking, Matchmaking, and Host in Halo (HBO mirror)

Bungie Friends and Family invitee, and sender of "random emails" about networking.

Both were good annoucement trailers. The problem was, Halo 2 didn't really deliver what was promised (a huge battle to save Earth, blah blah blah). Hopefully the Halo 3 one will be what happens in the game, more or less.

Not what was in that trailer it didn't. Do you even remember it? What happened was completely different.

the halo 2 trailer was really well done, but it also showed alot. it had me and likely many others jumping at the edge of their seats. but with the halo 3 trailer it shows alot less which makes it for a much more mysterious game. it has me and many more at the edge of our seats with our hearts jumping up and down in our throats and thinking hard to try to fiugre whats going on. to me thats the best. not knowing something until the final product. it the halo 3 trailer can make you as excited as getting pissed when they don't show you any more of it, then thats what makes it amazing. Bungie definitely wants this game to make the biggest impact since the atomic bomb, and for this i thank them.
