Another one of those changes from 1 to 2 was removing powerups from the campaign (also denying users that fun thing called warthog jumps, incidentally). Ok, so the Arbiter had camo, but still, powerups would be a welcome return, especially overshields.

So let's have them back!

I would rather see ACCESSORIES such as Jet Packs rather than power ups.

Meh, I don't really see the need for powerups in the campaign. It does seem a little unrealistic...unless camo was used for the guerrilla tactics that the Spartans are supposedly famous for.

I'd buy power ups in campaign.

i don't want powerups in campaign, i mean... idk... we are already invincible almost, the only hard difficulty is Legendary, and they shouldn't make it easier by giving powerups, so i dont think there si a need for powerups

I think he means the "powerups" that were in the Halo 1 single player! There were Overshields in the covie boarding ships in P.O.A.... Invisability in 343.
Halo 3 having powerups wouldn't be unrealistic... it would be more like Halo1. Which I hope to God it is more like Halo 1 that the run-and-gun that Halo 2 was.

Well, it's a bit unrealistic to have camo and overshield packs sitting around...

I kinda forgot how important they were in halo1, since you had to overcome so many foes in legendary. I dont think the same thing could be said for halo2's legendary since the damage was just turned up full blast instead of the more "situational" difficulty in Halo1.

Regarding the comment about it being too easy. It depends how much filler there is, instead of real combat.

Regarding realism, I mean, c'mon guys. We're talking about a video game here. Games are meant to be fun. This is one of those things where bending reality by having weird shaped powerups that can only activate when you touch them makes the game more fun.

Yes.. I want the powerups back, but with one condition.. They are hidden.. Meaning they won't be able to be found when just playing the game normally through. (Compare Skulls in Halo 2)

So the powerups could be in high areas, hidden rooms, or just in a clever little hide. Also Bungie could introduce a new third powerup, maybe something that speeds you up... Adrenaline injection or something. Hope Bungie has time and resources to read these various requests and ideas while developing the third game of games.

I respect your opinion, I'm probably just going to disagree with it.

I say yes, because they are actually technology rather than just powerups... so long as you saw the Elites using them... like smashing a hole into the overshield boxes and the energy comes out and covers them, giving them the shield or something similair. It might also make some sections more challenging.
