ONLINE...I never play campaign. DOOM is the only FPS worthy of playing campaign mode.

If there is truth to the rumors of 50 player games, how could you not play. Imagine 24 team mates? HAHHA It's going to be awesome-o

Of course when you make your profile you'll be able to see who you can be... So, why would you have to go play Multiplayer for that? Like I said before, story before multiplayer, then I'll be able to recognize some of the environments. (Like Terminal to New Mombassa, or Gemini to High Charity)

I'll have plenty of time to see all the weapons and vehicles in Campaign.

ONLINE...I never play campaign. DOOM is the only FPS worthy of playing campaign mode.
Whaaaaa? You're kidding, right? The point of a Campaign is usually a story.. Doom sucks at story. (Good game, nonetheless.)

Anyway, rumors about 54 player? RUMORS. Some guy goes "Yeah, I hear they're having 54 players" Says who?? Anyway, that happened with Halo 2 as well, and uh, still 16 players. Halo isn't made for 17+ players. It's just not that kind of game.

I remember the time I was kidnapped and they sent a piece of my finger to my father. He said he wanted more proof.

I wont play online until I beat campaign on hard.

Campaign - the multiplayer can wait for a day, plus I don't want to hear people online talking about the new story before I've played it through.

Campaign will always be there but the experiance of online play will alter and you will miss the experiance of it's evolution. I Won't

  • 05.11.2006 8:56 AM PDT

Coop online if we can.
If not, a little Story before Multiplayer just to get used to the new controls and stuff.

If I wanted a story, I'd read a book written by Anne Rice.

No insult to bungie since they created the best mulTiplayeR since Rainbow 6, but the story is just Aliens done to the nth degree, complete with malfuncitoning AI, little facehuggers, and a tough mexican chick with a gun who gets blown up.

The only reason anybody is still around is because of the great multiplayer aspect of the game.

That is simply untrue spilli. This forum went from 0 to 15 pages of threads in no time at all after the trailer was released. And there was no multiplayer in that trailer, and almost no discussion about it in the opening threads.

campaign first, no doubt. this should have been a poll. Multiplayer is secondary, even with Halo 3.

The reason I wanna see the campaign first is the graphics. They usually keep the best level designs and themes for the campaign. I wanna see the environments they made. Also, the storyline.

Multiplayer should not introduce anything new, except the addition of friends.

First and foremost is the Campaign for me. That is why I've ivested so much into the Halo mythos, to see where it ends. It will be bittersweet, and I hope, worth it. Then it'll be on to Live and get pwned.

Why? They didn't rehash Halo:CEs multiplayer for Halo 2. Why should they rehash Halo2s for Halo3?

I didn't play Campaign on Halo 2 until about 3 months after I got it. Then it took me a year to get around to finishing it.

I figure H3 will be about the same unless I read a bunch of ZOMGZORS DID YOU SEE THE END OF THE GAME threads, then I might be interested.

Because surely there will be an online coop option? Right Bungie? Pretty please?

I pray so...I know we all wanted it to be like that when switched gametypes to "co op," and it was a huge disappointment...and if Bungie doesn't allow online co-op, I may just have to teabag every single employee there. THAT'S RIGHT, BUNGIE...I'M CALLING YOU OUT!
