And I'm sure that I'll play the campaign first...then I can be surprised if they add different characters and different guns and all. Plus, people won't ruin it for me. Speaking of which, Snape kills Dumbledore.

The only reason anybody is still around is because of the great multiplayer aspect of the game.

That is simply untrue spilli. This forum went from 0 to 15 pages of threads in no time at all after the trailer was released. And there was no multiplayer in that trailer, and almost no discussion about it in the opening threads.

I disagree, but it's okay

I agree with your disagreement!!!

That's your prerogative mate, but you're in the minority. People don't just care about the multiplayer.

I'll play campaign while making use of the chat to my friends elsewhere.
*Begins saving up for an HDTV* This is gonna be great.

i'd have to complete the campaign because, knowing my luck, someone who's probably completed it would spill the beans and ruin it for me.

I will go online first for sure and after I am bored with it I will play the campaign. Seeing how Halo 2 campaign was seriously messed up and had so much hype to it ,I wonder how bad they are going to mess up the campaign in Halo 3.

Yeah, only nerds skip school. Oh wait...

I play campaign! That's the real game experience, then I play online later.

there are more campaign folks than I imagined. We will have to see what multiplayer changes are made and see how that effects things later.

Bungie listens to its fans! ^.^ | Ninja .II./ You
RCG: In ur base, steelin' ur flagz. | Watch the demo, then join the carnage!

Campaign first, on Normal. Then online, then Legendary.

Because you just know that the first game you get into some child will say "OMG MC is a Girl!!!?!?!" (yeah, I know he's not...) and that is not how I want the storyline to be revealed to me. =P

Turn my headphones up! Turn them -blam!-s up!

Terminal, Multi-Team Slayer BR
50-30-28-17
Score: 39 Spree: 16 Deaths: 8 Medals:17 (8 Doubles, 2 Triples, 1 Killtackular, 4 Sprees, 1 Riot, 1 Rampage) Accuracy: 46% Head Shots: 9
Moral of the story: Gauss Hog for President.

I think I might check out the weapons in a custom game, then go play campaign.

If there is truth to the rumors of 50 player games, how could you not play. Imagine 24 team mates? HAHHA It's going to be awesome-o

I can't wait to see how bad the games are if there are 50 people in each. LAG central. There isn't anything Bungie could do that would be more stupid! Big Team Battle is already a sucky gametype, why would they want level that take even longer to cross. I guess I would rather kills lots of people than look for lots of people during a game.

If it wasn't for Campaign, I probably wouldn't still be playing Halo 2.... nearly a year and a half after its release. Yeah. That's the ticket. Obviously Campaign is the most important to the majority of people here. That would explain the snails pace that the New Mombasa forum used to keep as opposed to the fast and furious speed of Zanzibar. Yep, they were all talking about how much better Campaign was. In Zanzibar. The Multiplayer forum.

I'm sure that the powerful engine within your Xbox 360 will make lag a memory.

ONLINE...I never play campaign. DOOM is the only FPS worthy of playing campaign mode.
Whaaaaa? You're kidding, right? The point of a Campaign is usually a story.. Doom sucks at story. (Good game, nonetheless.)

If I wanted a story, I'd read a book written by Anne Rice.

No insult to bungie since they created the best mulTiplayeR since Rainbow 6, but the story is just Aliens done to the nth degree, complete with malfuncitoning AI, little facehuggers, and a tough mexican chick with a gun who gets blown up.

Halo has more story than 99% of the games out there. Read the books, play Marathon, read the fiction.

and lag. Oh sweet lord I can imagine the lag caused by 50 people throwing grenades all at the same time.

Bigger Big Team Battle will rock. When 22 people on your team quit and then you get spawn camped by a team of 25. Fun redefined.

My minority will be the majority someday! Like now, more people play mulTiplayeR than dumb ole "Oh, Aliens!" camPAIN mode.
