I'm not a hater, I'm not saying it won't and I hope it does with all my heart. Given Bungie's track record with games however, one is never so sure. We have yet to see how far they've progressed in it, so it may be a bit too early to start being cynical. However, after waiting 3 years for Halo 2 (Not the longest wait for a game, but still significant given the magnitude of the release), I'm not sure that Halo 3 could be made in such a short amount of time, especially if it's witnessing changes from the original engine (which I hope it is, seeing how its gonna be a next-gen game). Such complete changes to a games engine, as well as porting consoles takes a long time, and I understand they've been working on it for a few years, and it will be 3 years come 2007, but it took three years to design a game engine with a "buy and load" physics engine (Havok) without porting consoles, how long will it take now that they have to redesign the entire engine for the new console?
