technically, i hate forge.

its so annoying thinking of something good to make in forge but not having enough money/pieces to make it, they should have raised the limit of pieces.

i know there is a limit to stop lag and other problems but the game can easily handle it, even modded maps that break the limit dont lag.

I could easily have built this Invasion map I've been working on with 99 walls, but I decided to use the standard 50 instead and see how I can get the perfect budget-friendly layout to work.

If you're becoming frustrated with your map, just take a day or two break. When you come back you should have new ideas and you might even scrap your old ones.

i have only just started it, playing saints row 2 gave me the idea, currently i have an ugly box as the middle of my map that i hope will start to look like a church

the plan was to make a church and give it urban surroundings for combat, i have made a lot f maps but none this big so i never really ran out of bits to use

some people suck at making maps, others can make amazing maps, others are n the middle (like me)

obviously talent their is skill/talent involved or every map you download/play on would be amazing, sadly they arent

I'm afraid you're gravely mistaken. Using the actual interface may not take much skill, but knowing how to build a good map does. Just look at the community maps in matchmaking. There are good ones and there are bad ones. If it took no skill/talent to build a map then they'd all either be good or bad.
