I better get in my opinion before this gets locked. First off, to the creator. You are not good so dont call yourself pro or anyone you associate yourself with pro. And second off, Make the splash radius larger. I dont understand how you can jump aim down kill your opponent and only take down a limited amout of your own shield down. Ever watch a US soldier fire a RPG or SAM at his feet wile jumping??? The answer is no, because the soldier that though real life was like halo blew himself to kingdom come.

Well first off to you, Mr. Person I've Never Even Heard of Because He Isn't Pro, Indiana took home 1st place in the Kenyan Pro Halo Tourneys last year. Secondly, US Soldiers don't jump and fire Rocket Launchers at their feet because they are not as strong and muscular as the MC and also because they don't want to give the insurgents any opportunity to plant an IED under their feet for when they land.

This guy is just flame baiting you guys. Seriously. Simply don't post any replies to him or acknowledge his attempts to draw you into a flame war. Simplest way to do it.

I'd actually prefer that it used a wire-guided system, as opposed to the fire-and-forget system. That means that you'd have to keep the targeting reticle on the target while the rocket is in flight for it to track, like the TOW missile systems. Perhaps this limitation could be offset by an increased damage radius or something like that. And maybe remote detonation could be possible, so if you miss a banshee you can still catch it with some splash damage.

I think they should let us dual wield rocket launchers..........

GREAT IDEA!!!

And both those rockets should track people, kinda like those bullet's with Tom Selleck's name on them in "Runaway".

indiana like wtf are you mantally retarded your callin us

Ironic post of the day!
AS UNREALISTIC AS HALO ALREADY IS IN THE SENSE OF FIGHTING ALIENS N SUTF WOULD IT NOT BE HARD TO HOLD A ROCKET LAUNCHER IN ONE HAND

take your left pinky, move it approximately 1 inch left, tap down. thank you.

thanks for dropping some science on his -blam!- ass...

the IUD is the source of soldiers' fear for sure... what's the point of making it home alive if you can't have kids anymore?

god whats with people on these forums and hatin games they play all the time.

the rockets pretty much fine as it is though i agree u should be able to shoot it down that would make the turret gunner vital for escape - blastin rockets down with the chaingun

i like the idea of a laser guided rocket tthat would take skill and still make taking out flying things easier

i think when u lock on do the wraith that it should axtually lock on most of the time when u lock on it misses for some reason when the wraith like barely moves. everything else is fine for the rocket.

There are different levels of lock-on. The longer you hold the trigger down and closer the two red reticles are inside one another, the better the lock.

A TOW missle for a target 2 feet in front of you. Yeah thats practical.

This seems like a good idea at first until you try to think about how it will work when you are dual wielding two rocket launchers...how are you supposed to track two rockets at once when you have two different targets?

I guess you need that a-hole's idea from a few months back where you have two reticules in two different places and the game ceases to be fun whatsoever unless you're a total a-hole.

also, if you have to track the thing over your head, you'll definitely spill whatever's in the cup holder.

I think it would be cool also if Halo 3 had special moves like Street Fighter 2, so like when you are dual wielding two Rocket Launchers you could jump in the air and spin around and launch, like, a thousand rockets at once while screaming "DEATH BLOSSOM!!!".

or you could have a sword and cut the guy right in half and the dude yells "FATALITY!!!" and then you get a medal.

I was using the TOW missile system's targeting system as an example.

lets say that when you use the RL, you have different types of ammo. one normal standard strait line avarage joe rocket. then heat seeking and then if you want to have wire-guided. you could switch ammo types by pressing "change grenade" or something. you could have these ammo crates dotted around a multi map or as a special ammo in story. this way you would cut down on the amount of homing kills because you would have to get the rocket launcher and the right ammo you want.

Well shlt if we're getting that much crap I want a nuclear warhead. Just for those moments when I on't want to lose. Everyone on the map dies.

this discussion is for pros. if you're a BR noob form Halo 2, your opinion doesn't count.
reading your message i (maybe not right at all but) conclude you like to shoot the rocket launcher a lot.

correct me if im wrong but headshots with a battlerifle are more skillfull then popping them thangs with a rocket.

no way... I can get twice as many kills with a rocket launcher as you can with a BR.
