Subject: Pillar of autumn challenge confusion

On bungie.net, it says to complete the mission with several skulls on without dying (no specific difficulty). On the game, it says to complete the mission on legendary with those same skulls on, but doesn't mention if we have to survive the whole time....is anyone else confused? I don't want to waste a bunch of time for nothing

Do you have to do it on legendary also?

You have to complete it without dying. BUT you can just play through normally, die as much as you want and at the final checkpoint (before you get in the MAC IIRC) save and quit, then resume and finish. Done.

They fixed that.

In the last two weeks? I used the Save/Quit method that recently.

Also, I don't actually know if that's something that can be fixed without a noticeable update.

Que Custodiet Ipsos Custodes

--Tea-baggers are funny, it's as if they think they are far more hetero than the people who do it in real life, because they use their e-ballsacks to do it. What a manly victory dance.

It does say it in-game. Select Challenges on the main menu, highlight L.D. Pillar, and it mentions the stipulation "This Challenge requires you to complete the mission without dying", right above where it lists the skull symbols.
