Bungie.Match.com: Our Johnson knows what the ladies like.

We don't know yet.

He bought it at his favorite store on the Citadel.

Seriously though, nobody knows, we'll just have to wait.

343i already said that the armor we saw in the reveal trailer will NOT be the in-game armor.

They said this at the Halo Fest panels.

My honor student can beat up your honor student.

We really don't know.

My theory? He will upgrade his armor to MJORNIR MARK VII on the UNSC Infinity early on in the game.

We DO KNOW already. In Halo: Grasslands it is said that the Mjornir armor contains nanites that can effect repairs and modify the suit. Now obviously cortana had some time on her hands and access to her Forerunner knowledge so its rather obvious.

But if thats how they explain it or not I dont know

Actually, what we do know is that the MJORNIR MARK VII (7) contains nanites and is made by a 3rd party.

MJORNIR MARK VI (6), the armor the Chief was last known wearing, does not have the same features as the MARK VII.

Whether or not Cortana has the knowledge to create an entirely new suit for the Chief (or even augment his current one for that matter) is unknown.

Naomi-010 is the only known user of the MARK VII armor and, at that, her variant is a prototype. I don't know where you seem to get this information from, but hey, I could be wrong. However, if I am wrong, you'd need to back it up with evidence.

Please explain.
As said above, we first see the MJORNIR MARK VII on Naomi-010 in Glasslands. She is wearing one of (if not) the first suits of this armor.

Just by deductive reasoning, knowing that the UNSC Infinity could be a major part of Halo 4 and that it is a testing ground for new/Forerunner tech and that there are SPARTAN VI's (and possibly the remaining S II's and III's as offered in Glasslands) there that would need armor of some sort, we can expect that this armor may find its way into Chief's hands... or whole body to be more accurate.

Nope it wasnt finished in Grasslands but if that is the ship aboard which chakas was 'interogatted' then it could become very interesting as he has taken over control of the ship on which this discussion began.

He may have new armor in the trailer but we may not know if 343 would put back his old armor

Swag punks, fuck off!

It's mark 6, but 343 made it weird.

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

I'd much rather it be explained that he got Forerunner upgrades.

That was an early version. It's changed.

Cortana + Forerunner tech + time = New Hotness.

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

He gets it from 343i.
