We DO KNOW already. In Halo: Grasslands it is said that the Mjornir armor contains nanites that can effect repairs and modify the suit. Now obviously cortana had some time on her hands and access to her Forerunner knowledge so its rather obvious.
But if thats how they explain it or not I dont knowActually, what we do know is that the MJORNIR MARK VII (7) contains nanites and is made by a 3rd party.
MJORNIR MARK VI (6), the armor the Chief was last known wearing, does not have the same features as the MARK VII.
Whether or not Cortana has the knowledge to create an entirely new suit for the Chief (or even augment his current one for that matter) is unknown.
Naomi-010 is the only known user of the MARK VII armor and, at that, her variant is a prototype. I don't know where you seem to get this information from, but hey, I could be wrong. However, if I am wrong, you'd need to back it up with evidence.

We really don't know.
My theory? He will upgrade his armor to MJORNIR MARK VII on the UNSC Infinity early on in the game.
Please explain. As said above, we first see the MJORNIR MARK VII on Naomi-010 in Glasslands. She is wearing one of (if not) the first suits of this armor.
Just by deductive reasoning, knowing that the UNSC Infinity could be a major part of Halo 4 and that it is a testing ground for new/Forerunner tech and that there are SPARTAN VI's (and possibly the remaining S II's and III's as offered in Glasslands) there that would need armor of some sort, we can expect that this armor may find its way into Chief's hands... or whole body to be more accurate.
