Subject: Does anyone know the number of people in our community?

How can you claim my post is inaccurate when you clearly didn't even read it (and comprehend it correctly)?

Well, the exact number of users registered to date we can provide. The regularly active number we also have a pretty good idea of. Bungie.me is a website developed for tracking Bungie.net profiles, and you have to be searched in order to be tracked. Assuming most of the people that have been searched are regular users, we can place the rough number of active users at around 6,000, with the exact count being 6,174.

The exact number someone else can get. I'm too lazy.

Not accurate at all.

Anyway. Halo Waypoint has 69,263 registered members, so we can deduce that Bungie has more than that.

Yeah but don't forget that the Bungie.me thread was only posted in this forum therefore most of the population of bungie.net don't even know that it exists.

I'm able to understand your post just fine... though some of it is hard to read properly. Grammar is a bit off.

By my calculations, I believe the community will have around 7 members total.

But my math could be off.

"Assuming most of the people that have been searched are regular users"

That would be a condition, making the following a conditional statement. Are you serious? Also, grammar is fine.

Six, excluding you. We're all multi-accounters, except for you and one or two other people.

That whole paragraph is 'iffy'. Before questioning my reading comprehension, at least make sure your posts make sense.

Regardless, I have better things to do than to argue with a 13 year old.

Doesn't make your post any less inaccurate. Like you said, it only tracks those who have searched their username before. There is a whole sea of new members that I can almost guarantee haven't even heard of that website before, let alone searched their name.

Only Achronos or the webteam know how many active users there really are.

I'd be more interested in the exact number of active users per forum.

I know the flood would win by a mile, though.

Not arguing. Just stating that his assumption was based on nothing.

the only problem i have with mine is that it's unstable,[very shakey],so you'd need a tripod for it.

Just drink a beer and everything will be ok

Sorry to interupt the squabbling.

Assuming that account ID = xxxxxxxth member (Achronos is 1), I'd place the number of accounts at a tad under 12 million, based on the ID of a few troll accounts in the Flood.

Most accounts are just bots converted from Achronos' runescape gaming period, to make the forums look more popular.

Xbox Ambassador: Feel free to ask any questions you might have about a Xbox issue in a PM to me. I may be able to help!

Well the number of accounts made is up past 11,000,000 people of course probably 2 Million of those are probably alts.

Anyways the newest member from I've seen doing some search would be this guy. george harr1son His member ID is 11,722,574. The website is already almost 3/4 of the way to touching another million.

@Helveck

Just an Average Joe...

My guess would probably be anywhere around seventeen or eighteen.

Astronomy Picture of the Day!

What exactly are the boundaries of Bnet? Do you count stat checkers, non-posters, and accountless lurkers? Or do you only count active posters? It seems most people here are only going by the latter, where as I would also count the former.

Most people's definitions of Bnet's outreach will differ, so I don't know how anyone can spawn a definite number out of a heap of subjectivity.
