Probably the Reach forum.

I can't post any weighted argument as I'm not as "skilled" as some of the folks there.

Second is the Universe forum.

You should send me your ideas for threads and I'll make them for you. :P

I used to troll that place all the time but I've stopped. Some of the people there are genuinely nice.

I am really only active on 2 of the forums here.

I've ventured into the Flood on 3 occasions, the first 2 of which got me banned. So I tend to tread lightly in every other thread that isn't the Community or Reach forum.

Bungie Universe for sure. They talk about stuff that I've never even heard of before or thought of about Halo.
Same. Also the Reach fourm.

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

I try to post in the Universe forum sometimes, but it's almost scary how worked up people get over there. I half expect a fist to come flying out of the screen and punch me in the face.

I usually feel out of place when I join a group where everyone knows each-other already. On the mains? Probably here.

The Reach Forum. I don't dare go in there. The Universe, Flood, and Screw are my home-forums.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

All forums except Community, Flood, Reach, H3 and occasionally the universe.

Am I the only one that frequents both the Screw and the Universe?

Xbox Ambassador: Feel free to ask any questions you might have about a Xbox issue in a PM to me. I may be able to help!

Really any forum that isn't (The Septagon/Community, Flood, or Halo: Reach forums)

I only hang out it a couple forums here, and post in only 3 forums often. Occasionally I'll post in other forums on b.net, but mostly I stick around in the Septagon, the Flood, and the Halo: Reach forums.

So yeah, basically any forum that isn't the 3 above that I listed, then yeah I sort-of feel out of place, when I visit/look at the other b.net forums.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

The Universe and the Community forums. I just feel out of place in both of these forums, however, they are both my favourite, ironically.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

The universe makes me feel a little bit out of place becuase you are supposed to discuss all of Bungie's "old games" but all everyone wants to talk about Halo and when I try to talk about Myth or something people think I am trolling, drunk, one kid said to me "THATS NOT A BUNGIE GAME".

:/

The Universe definitely, although I do post there occasionally. Sometimes the Flood as well.

yeah this reminds me of the time i got sent to jail for stealing crocs from target becozs i wanted all of the colors because i only got the green wons for my birthday and i wanted more ;)

Here and Universe. I still lurk both and make the occasional post, but some of the terms and inside jokes confuse me. Even in this thread there are some that I don't understand. The Screw?

Yeah, 99% of modern day Universe forum discussion is about Halo, matchmaking, and 343i.

I think Halo is a great game and there is certainly a lot of story behind it but there is even more story behind Marathon and Myth.

But yeah, some people have no idea what I am talking about and think I am trolling. LOL

And I decided to change my avatar to the Myth total soundtrack with a Trow using 2 male Peasants to beat some drums. I REALLY want an avatar of a Myrcridea playing the Cello with a Human Femur.

What Forum(s) give you the heebie-jeebies and sorta make you feel out of place/uncomfortable?

Not out of place as much as just no interest.
Anything pre-Halo 3
Reach
Universe

...coupled with the 'WTH is wrong with some people'?
Flood

It all makes sense now.

  • 01.02.2012 6:24 AM PDT

It would be the flood for me. Everyone seems to know each other and they all have inside jokes.

Its really weird.

  • 01.02.2012 6:33 AM PDT

It's definitely got to be the Universe Forum for me. I don't know much about the Marathon series, or any pre-Halo products by Bungie.

I think you are overestimating the Flood. There are new "memes" every day from 1 thread that die later that day.

Cry Havoc And Let Slip The Dogs Of War.

Yea I hear you on that. I don't go into that forum for that reason now lol.

Probably the Bungie Universe forum. I go in there, thinking I have a little knowledge on the Halo Universe, and then I'm completely lost.
