I was watching it, and was thinking how awesome it would be to have that as a preview in theaters. If Bungie has some money to spare, why not? It would be bound to create a ton of hype and spread the word.

What do you think?

My friend said he saw it in an AMC theatre, but i dont think he was telling the truth...we tend to over hype these things...

Yeah... The teaser for Halo 2 would have been good in theaters also, instead of that other one. The teaser was very epic.

I dont think there was a Halo 2 trailer in the movie theathers but I think that would be really cool if they put the Halo 3 in movie theathers just to spread the word of the best Halo game and shooter (IMO) to the public.

Do you think they need to advertise it? Look how much advertisement the game received even when it wasnt "officially" announced... I saw multiple stores with Halo 3 somewhere and pre-order... I would think that company's that want to help promote this would probably not even charge since they are going to benefit from it... Example Mt. Dew has always supported Halo or wanted to advertise it, I would doubt they charge Bungie...

Yeah, there was, but I didn't think it was that great. Like I said, the teaser with him on the space station was much more epic and cooler.

2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

There was a Halo 2 trailer in the movies I saw it once.

There was a halo2 trailer in theaters. It was the epic trailer that started the ilovebees phenomenon. I don't think they'd release a halo3 trailer in theaters though, pretty much everyone who's interested already knows about halo3 by now anyway. Maybe if they wanted to give out some new teaser info (like ilb) they could make a movie trailer, but I think it's a bit early in development for that.
