2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Seriously, who brought up this whole "its not the Chief" idea? Its the Chief for christs sake. Theres a whole bunch of proof to back it up too.
For my opening statement, im going to show some actual proof of Bungie actually calling him the "Chief", and yes i'll say it again, ACTUAL PROOF. Take yourself to the front page of the site and look at the article. The Spartan in the trailer is called the Chief on multiple occasions. Heres an actual photo of it actually happening, actually.
Who says thats the Assault Rifle? It could be an upgraded version. Or hell, it could even be the same one. According to Bungie, the trailer we all saw was about 3/4 into the game of Halo 3. So the Chief had time to obtain one.
If the Spartan was not the Chief, how do you explain the armor? Thats the Halo 2 armor (whats the Halo word for it? MJOLNIR MARK 6? Oh well...) with a few added perks. Now if it was a different Spartan I would expect it to have the armor from Halo CE... <---This proof is un-certain since I havent read the books...
Why would Bungie advertise any other character but its main in the opening trailer? The trailer is the first impression, the big show off of what Halo 3 will look like. Theres a few things Bungie wants to show: How badass the new Chief looks, a little teaser for all the Halo fanboi's to create hundreds of theorys over, the games graphics, and a little backside on the story. The only Spartan people want to see is the Chief because he is the main character of all 3 Halo's.
Seriously, stop the madness. Its John-117, the Master Chief.
