I dunnnoo.... Bungie likes to hide things, which would explain all of the easter eggs in Halo 1 and 2.

So we should post about what in the Halo 3 forum?

The trailer is the only thing we can talk about. That's all we know about Halo 3.

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

I'm all for speculation about the structure that opened up during the video and its importance to the Covenant (other than being just another Forerunner artifact), but the majority of the threads found here come down to "What the hell is that thing?", "Why're the Chief's gloves different?", "Why is the Assault Rifle Back?", and "I want the Halo Pistol back." Most everything else is either against those listed topics or some kind of copy.

Where are the well-thought out discussions about Halsey and Kelly's whereabouts, Ackerson's S-III Project, the remaining Spartans, and the thoroughly battered Marines? And what about the Arbiter and his motley band of misfits?

So many people are quick to scream "Assault Rifle!" than discussing story elements like I listed. Why can we not keep the weapons posts into one super thread, as well as all the other repetitive topics? We aren't leaving much room for interesting story discussion.
