I was wondering what Halo players thought about the matchmaking system introduced in Halo 2.

I really think that it is a good idea to have matchmaking system. Not only can you find a game in no time at all, but you also are matched with those of about equal skill.

If you go and play any other Xbox live game after playing Halo 2, you think man, i really wish they had a system similar to Halo 2.

Now, some of you may think that the matchmaking system results in more cheating, but i feel that cheating is going to present regardless, and that bungie has developed the best way to be paired up against opponets.

Yes, but keep it on dedicated servers to eliminate cheating, hacking, and lag related glitches.

why would you want to get rid of it? Sure It was akward at first without the server list, but I have way more fun going into a game that I don't know the level or gametype... provides more challenge and makes it WAYYY less stale...

I would definitley like to have matchmaking, since I can get paired with people with a skill level that is close to mine, and make more friends
