"What are we holding on to, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

Okay, so I'm still hovering between 47-48 in TS. I have no problems with map knowledge or callout knowledge, but I still have major problems managing to go even low positive every game. I usually focus on helping team shot, calling out when power weapons/powerups are coming back, and in general being a support player. I rarely choose to be aggressive, since I'm perfectly aware that I suck at slaying. I tend to run TS with a friend whenever possible, but sometimes I feel like ranking up and no one is on. Do I hurt myself more if I play on my own?

I tend to win with friends, but usually trade wins and losses on my own, though I sometimes have a really good or bad night. Using Metahalo, I have a little over 80 games on my 47, and I have like 8-9 more losses than wins. In TS overall, I have slightly over 800 games played. Please don't tell me to just give up, because I refuse to quit now that I'm this close.

My strengths:
Callouts
Map knowledge
Communication in general
Team shots
My BR
Awareness
My weaknesses:
My BR (Yes, I know I listed it twice. Sometimes, I'm on, sometimes I suck)
Sniping
Slaying in general
Managing to stay alive for more than a minute or so
Coming up with a plan past the initial rush. If anyone had a list of what to do on every map for a support player, that would be awesome, that I doubt such a thing exists.
Nades

So, what do I do to improve these things? I really can't afford to make too many more mistakes in TS, since it already takes forever to rank up. Is there a good practice playlist/custom? Feel free to browse my record. Thanks!

I'm not making excuses. I never claimed to be good. I have never played any colonel better than me though.

Sorry I haven't played with you dude, I haven't really gotten the urge to play anything else besides Skyrim recently. You should join Forum Tryhards though, you'll get some hate but I'm sure you'll find a few more people who will be willing to help you too.

You need to start abusing equipment, it's half the game.

No worries bro, I've been playing Revelations, Skyrim, Uncharted 3, etc. lately anyway. I'll join though, thanks.

One every few weeks. Problem? It's not bothering you, and you're not obligated to reply.

Why do you care so much? He's trying to get a 50 and is just asking for some pointers on how to get better, which I see no problem with. Besides, there are barely any threads here o-o, which means that this thread wouldn't be considered useless.

Try to stay with your teammates after the initial push, leaving one shots and not picking up loose kills can make or break the game. Map control, pick a spot on the map and keep it. I know you said you don't charge by yourself, but that doesn't mean you are doing all you can to help the TEAM. remember it doesn't matter if you go positive or negative, all that matters is if your team wins.

So what you're saying is just to find a quadrant of the map and control it? This might be what I need, usually after the initial rush, I feel kind of aimless. I'll try this, thanks.
