Subject: Question about the Legendary Planet

To be honest, when I first saw all this in the weekly update I thought 2 things.
#1- there is an actual legendary ending but,
#2- No matter what anyone does,(kill all the bobs, hit all switches etc) that until the "time" mentioned in "There'll be another time..." is reached there won't be a legendary ending.

The weekly update by bungie has slowed my hardcore search for what unlocks the legendary ending.

You are the one that didn't know what Sigma 7 was, so i don't understand why you are linking that to me or anybody else. Bungie wasn't the source of this leak merely one of the dozens of recipients.

You shouldn't use anything without a source. But there isn't a reason to source stuff that people do or should remember.
Why the hell would I need to know some name that doesn't even canonsidally go with The Legendary Planet? Sure some people say its Sigma 7, but if the makers of Halo 4 say that's not the name, then why would you still call it that? And I do remember that whole thread about that spoiler. You wanna know what I saw? A GIANT LOCK PICTURE

I lol at your attempts to make me look stupid. I didn't remember at first because this was the first time I have heard that name in a long time

don't ever recall calling the LD planet "Sigma 7", i was just explaining to you what plasma was saying. You are making yourself look stupid by making a big deal about it and making ridiculous spelling errors.
Considering that Sigma 7 was brought up in the thread about the Legendary Planet, and how Plasma said that it was the name of the Legendary Planet.

Yeah, since the Halo Wars planet, Onyx, and Sigma are all shield worlds it seems.
Wtf are you on? Sigma Octanus IV is NOT a shield world. It has the Forerunner artifacts on the planet, but it's not a sheild world. If you read the Fall Of Reach you will know that.

Sigma 7 I meant, the nickname for the Legendary Planet in Halo 3. I am well aware that Sigma Octanus IV is not a shield world. Boy do you like jumping to conclusions bud.
You may have not said that it was the Legendary Planet, but from what you just told me, you tried to explain what Plasma said to me. If your going to explain his reasoning then your obviously working with his theory.

Up to date on bull-blam!-? Only reason I know about it is because I saw the thread when it was first made. I'm a bit shocked to see people using it across the forum to refer to the planet in Halo 4. A colloquialism isn't a bad thing, but when it's tied to false information then it's just misleading.

I wouldn't count it out.

You're misleading people, though. And you definitely shouldn't be criticising people for not knowing what it is when you shouldn't even be calling it that.

You are overreacting to this on a massive scale. What is more practical to say, Sigma 7 or The Legendary Planet? Furthermore, if you knew what the hell Sigma 7 means, then why is this even an issue? The other guy obviously was not up to date and now is backpedaling like no tomorrow, and you don't do any justice by supporting him.
lolwut, you assume that the Legendary Planet is Sigma 7, yet I'm backpeddaling when I quote what a Halo 4 creator tells everyone its not correct? Jezz, what has this forum become.

He was stating all the shield worlds we know of, i didn't "correct" him about sigma 7 because i already understand that he knows it was fake.

Your failing at whatever you are trying to do and creating a pointless argument with me is never a good idea. Unless it is opposite day.

Bud, how the heck is it false information here? I used the name in a colloquial way. I apologize if I ever said that Sigma 7 is the name of the planet in Halo 4, but I don't recall doing that. If you're going to get this uptight about naming, then calling it the Legendary Planet is also misleading because that's not the name it probably has. We should call it the "Planet we see after the end of Halo 3 when played on legendary."

It's a non-issue. He made it an issue, and made himself look quite foolish for doing so, and you are not helping yourself by defending him.

Genius. On the floor. Brilliant.

Edit: Call it the Legendary Planet. It's more factually correct.

Hey rememebr that one time when there was a discussion on the Legendary Planet and it got way off topic? yea good times....

  • 01.02.2012 5:13 PM PDT

We’re flawed because we want so much more. We’re ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had.

Grey, how did this thread get so side tracked over Sigma7 and the legendary planet? O-o

He didn't say nor imply the LD was Sigma 7. I cannot tell if you are trolling because this is the most idiotic misunderstanding i have ever seen in this forum.

lol

  • 01.02.2012 7:38 PM PDT

if thats the only place halo 4 takes place on then yes, because concept art show some natural landscapes, but if it takes place outside the legendary planet as well, then maybe
