Waypoint Moderators aren't really Moderators, just power hungry and its goal is defend their beloved Halo at all costs. (Meaning that they wank Halo too much.)

BS Angel is alleged foe so, be wary of Waypoint and its moderators! Do not attempt to move to Waypoint. Enter your own risk.

Damn. The Librarian aren't dead. Primorodium confirms this.

"Some say she is dead, that she died on Earth. But that is demonstrably untrue." [Halo: Primordium, Chapter 42]

The hell? then again i can't be surprised if the Didact is some how still kicking.

Also, 343 Guilty Spark aren't dead at all and also likely got out of rampancy due to accessing to Chakas memory. So Guilty (Chakas) is taking a UNSC ship to find the Librarian, he said he knows where to find her. So I suspect that Master Chief will seeing the Liberian itself. It would explain how UNSC is involved in this since they're taking a ship full of UNSC personnel to that location.

Yankee115

Yes, Chakas became 343 Guilty Spark.

So does that mean that the Timeless One is controlling the Gravemind?

Its basically confirms he isn't as when he dies the graveminds obviously continue to exist.

...well -blam!-
Now i -blam!- can't wait for Halo 4 anymore.

I wonder why she dissapeared from everyone like her own husband, maybe she left the galaxy searching for answers for whatever is about the come.

Regardless i can't wait to see her in the games.

Thought so. The demonstration no doubt being the existence of gei in humans.

Also it proves that Forerunners can practically live infinitely...

If thats true it would be very odd as the librarian was the oldest forerunner and in cryptum she was approx 11,000 years old.

Now I find it odd that there she would exist in the modern day (halo 2556 time) as that would make her over 110,000 years old and with no forerunner ever being that old previously and the forerunners length of existance (as a species) either she was in a cryptum or, potentially something which could be better in some ways. That the composer was used and the Librarian is now a monitor.

It's over 9000....

And also does it specifically state that it is indeed 343 and not another monitor that ONI mistaked for 343? Because i'm pretty sure I saw him blow up in a big blue flash with my own eyes.

He's a machine. Data. That chassis is just that; a chassis. I'm sure his programming can be stored wirelessly in the event of destruction.

That was my thought but if you read the following quotes

http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/8691/screenshot002if.png
http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/6928/screenshot003hl.png
http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/8268/screenshot004zh.png

And then he begins speaking and his recognition changes to 343 so it seems likely that chakas is somehow 343

Looking forward to seeing him again in Halo 4. The confrontation between he and Master Chief will be interesting.

The only problem with that is he now has no corporial form. He is the ship and hopefully he ends up with John but who knows

They wouldn't bring him back if he wasn't going to appear in the new trilogy. I reckon by at the most Halo 5 John will be back in our space anyway, so even if we don't see Guilty Spark at the Legendary Planet we eventually will.

John: Why won't you just die?!

343:....I could say the same of you and your construct, Reclaimer.

(Just the way I envision it :P )

Nah. I think John will forgive him; he knows Spark was just following orders, and a Spartan knows what that means better than anyone. I have a feeling Spark's going to be the good guy in the new trilogy; it'd be too bland if he was portrayed as the bad guy again.

  • 01.03.2012 3:21 AM PDT

For what ever reason, I think that 343 will be much more stable and I am VERY much looking forward to the foretold event by the precursor (the 1001 century thing) as I can nearly guarentee this will play a pivotal role in the story of Halo 4.

I'd love to see 343 as a good guy for once. Things just haven't been going his way for the last 100,000 years.

No just no...

1. He killed johnson.

2. He tried kill cheif, again!

3. He didn't follow protocol. Hes main 1 is to stop the flood from esacping, but he choose the saftey of his ring before that...

If he didn't save the ring it would make protocol pointless. Even though he is an AI i fully understand him freaking out when is only purpose was destroyed after eons of service.

Hmmm. Think of a human mother going insane after her kid died and instead of burying it she is keeping the body somewhere in denial.

That is the best analogy i can think of in this drowsy state.

Good job, but you only get half the points if she didn't live in the way you mentioned.
