Basically, I make the best topics ever.
Feedback!
Duardo: This thread is locked for being stupid.
cortana 5 : It's perpetually my time of the month and I'm just grouchy.
Foman: I see absolutely no reason, either theoretical or practical, that this is not a superb idea. Excellent work, my friend.
...and we still don't have new titles.
Since everyone else is sharing their brilliant ideas for titles, I would like to throw my own in, just in case Bungie decides to get with the times.
Titles are tied to the difficulties of the Halo games, correct? But Bungie is no longer in charge of the Halo Universe, so they really can't use the same titles. I'm SURE it's copyright or something. So, with the release of their new game, they need to update the titles to match the difficulties.
I would like to propose that Bungie links the difficulties in their next game to the number of members on B.net. For example, since there are currently around 11693150 different user IDs, there would be 11693150 different difficulty levels for Bungie's next game, minus the hundreds of thousands of inactive accounts of course. Every time a new member registers for B.net, a new difficulty is added to Bungie's next game.
Now, we already established that titles relate to difficulty level. We'll look at that! We have the exact number of difficulty levels that there are members! That would mean that the title '1' would go to Achy, '2' might go to Urk, '52' might go to TU. Your B.net 'true skill' would relate to the number on your title, not your join date.
In addition, members 1-100 would get mod powers, with 1-10 gaining web team powers.
I would be '3' as a kind thank you for the work I put towards the development of this idea and for helping them to avoid copyright infringement.
Thoughts?
