Subject: When and why did you join bungie.net?

2007 to become part of the most awesomest community

  • 01.03.2012 6:54 AM PDT

I made this account in 2008 but I honestly don't remember why or where I made this. I remember linking my H2 gamertag to something in 2006 but Christ alone knows what that account was called and what happened to it.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

July 2010. After I started playing Halo in 2009, I decided to come here to dicuss Halo.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

07' shortly after the release of Halo 3, for the file share stuff.

I joined back in 2008, good ole days of gaming in Halo 3.

The reason I joined, is cause I was friends with some members in the community and they talked about it quite often. I also saw the little info things telling me to go to http://www.bungie.net/ to check stats and what not.

I've been happy to join, and I'll be staying for a long time!

11.08.2009 to form a truce between McDonalds Corp and Bungie, ending the 18-year feud between the two and saving millions of lives.

I have seen you future

I first came here because of the plug for www.bungie.net/router when I got yelled at for not having an open NAT. I joined in November 2009 because I wanted information on ODST.

And I never even got my NAT to open...

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

Near the end of 2010. I'd been lurking for a while, but I decided to join cause the forums looked pretty cozy.

Boy, was I in for a surprise...

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

I had been lurking on Usenet for years (before that Bungie was an AOL keyword), then the various bungie.org and bungie.net incarnations when this WWW thingie finally caught on.

After years of lurking, I remember a post on HBO where Wu mentioned that Bungie was implementing a new dotNet account system and that people should "go make a new account nao!".

So I registered. Odd thing though. The day that I created my account, is the day that the Webmaster returned from his infamous "pee break". Of course such comic gems are lost or very hard to find (I really miss the old Danger Boy arc) and the Webmaster? I suspect he crawled into a freezer with a case of Vodka saying "wake me when you need m... no, wake me when I run out of Vodka".

The beta is super awesome. RogueAssassin27 is now the person who got my Totodile's nickname. Hoo-hah! Relevant.inb4lock

I thought that you rode the velociraptors to find Bungie? Am I not up to date?

I regret coming to Bnet so late, I never really knew it existed if I'm quite honest. I made an account shortly before getting Recon armour back in the Halo 3 days but I played Halo since the beginning.

December 26, 2008. I was just browsing through my sister's computer, (I played Halo 3 at the time) so I decided to look up 'bungie.com' but it instead lead me here. After a few minutes of scrolling through different pages, I finally decided to create my own account.

  • 01.03.2012 9:40 AM PDT

I joined back in January of 2008, but I changed my GT in November of 2010 so I made a new account. I came for the stats.
