Subject: Are Bungie Employees forbidden from posting?

Basia Basiliscum Meum

what i mean is, are they forbidden from posting above a certain number of posts per day/week. because they seem awfully quiet on discussed topics.

either that or they have no opinions

Subject: Are Bunjie Employees forbidden from posting?

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

No, look at the group the Marty army, he posts there all the time.

But, I am sure that many employees are too busy to pop in all the time. But be sure if there is something related to their position they may pop in to re-assure the forum.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

I suspect it has more to do with them preferring to spend their free time working on the next Bungie epic.

It might also have to do with wanting to avoid any temptation to spill beans.

Carpe Diem - Carpe Coffee

Astronomy Picture of the Day!

Why would they have a limit on how much they can post? I think it's more likely that they just have work to do, you know creating a new game and all...

  • 01.03.2012 7:34 AM PDT

I expect Bungie Employees post quite a bit. Don't forget that only a few employees actually have Gold text.

  • 01.03.2012 7:41 AM PDT

Yes, I AM just that awesome.

Bunjie

This is not going to go well.

OT: No, they post, they just have better stuff to do. Ya'Know creating a videogame and all.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

I'm sure that they're just too busy working on more important things.

While a lot of the employees that post here joke around a lot, they also know they represent the company. That said they probably try to limit their appearances to times in which posting is beneficial.

We're not forbidden to post, but in general we leave it to the professionals like Urk and Deej. It's way too easy for the average studio employee to misspeak and confuse the community. There's also a fairly limited spectrum of things we're allowed to talk about publicly while we're still dark.

If you like, I could post about how much I'm enjoying force choking people in Star Wars: The Old Republic...

(edit: I can't believe I used the words "professional" and "Urk" in the same sentence.)

The world is full of mysteries, and shares too few of the answers required. An example of which, is how did I end up in the Brute Zone?

That's good, that you're enjoying choking people in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

OT: They aren't really forbidden to not post, but they just leave it up to mostly just the webteam. Unless they know for sure they can give a accurate answer to your question.

There's also a fairly limited
I think it's quite clear the next game is "fairly limited" which will probably be a survival shooter set in an apocalyptic world of chaos where food, supplies and ammunition are dangerously low. Hence the title "Fairly Limited." Then again maybe not... but I think I am right.
