Subject: Why is there a credit cap?

I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

What purpose does it serve besides making people wanting to play a different game when they hit it?

Also what purpose did that rank cap do? You were still ranking up even though you were making no progress on the meter. (If you went offline. You can see what rank you should be when you hit the cap. When the cap got lifted you were that rank.)

Yes this stuff is kinda late, and old. But I still have no clue at all what purpose they even serve.

the credit cap is designed to infrom you that your playing too much halo and to get a life, besides bungie only wants you to buy their games and accesories they dont care if you actually play xD

But the higher rank you are. The faster you hit it. Becasue you get more credits.

I think Reach is the only game I played, and can think of that has a limit on how much you can earn for your rank for each day.

To prevent people from boosting to Inheritor.

I don't see how that's a problem. You don't earn anything useful at that rank, and it has no impact on anybody else.
