"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

For some, a long ban/warning history is a "red badge of courage" and shows "just how many times I stood up to the man and his corrupt machine".
For some, a long ban history is "evidence that certain moderators are incompetent or are out to get me".
Many folks of these two groups will then create topics in order to discuss their righteous indignation over these past injustices and attempt to "retry the case in the court of public opinion" with a "I wuz bant 4 this, do u think it wuz fare?"
For a few, it is a curiosity and a chance to look back and realize that "wow, I actually have learned from my mistakes and I was a little overactive and overzealous back in my youth of 2 years ago."
What does this have to do with being able to see our ban/warning history?
People make threads like "I wuz bant 4 this, do u think it wuz fare"? Also, there's no rule against that anyway. If I want to ask the community whether a ban was fair, nothing says that I can't, as long as I'm civil.
We are on the topic of our history of bans and warnings, so I would assume that his post does relate to the subject. That's just my opinion.
As for being able to post about bans or warnings being just or not shouldn't be allowed; it should be between PMs between the moderator and user involved. Again, that's just my opinion.
Now to be on topic, I believe that we should be able to see our entire ban history, but I'm assuming that there's a valid reason as to why we currently can't and why the moderators can't specifically tell us our history.
