SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Yeah, the irony in this thread is interesting. A serious topic discussing why we shouldn't be serious. At least that's how i inferred it. Perhaps, as so many OPs of topics have screamed in my inbox, I'm just not getting it once again.

Also, I don't take anything seriously. Sooo...at least I'm conforming to your will OP. Can't yell at me for that.

Only after we ban Bricypoo.

I would not say this, I remember a time when there were a lot of fun/funny threads going around. It usually changes every so often to being serious focused to not so serious. Well, at least in my experience.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

There was a time when there was nice and humorous discussion on here?

Is it a dream?

  • 01.03.2012 7:41 PM PDT

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

The thing is, I really don't think my thread was that serious. Look at the title, and my replies throughout this thread, they've just been lame, thoughtless replies.

NOW CRAWL BACK INTO YOUR CAGE, CAM!

I think the Bungie Community forum should be mostly filled with threads involving: lame inside jokes, having a laugh with the employee's, organizing some carnage etc. As opposed to super cerial debate on very minor issues, e.g. a 'block' feature.

Your thoughts?

Honestly, all I have really seen lately IS the lame inside jokes.
Especially the mods. Outside of the repeat, repeat, repeat CHANGE B.NET NOW threads, there really is nothing else to talk about until a new game is officially announced.

btw, I would love a block feature...
Some people have just not learned that 'less is more', or that being an attention monger is tiresome to the majority of forum goers.

The problem is these damn "Why do you post on bungie.net?" "What compells you to post in a thread?" "Why did you make your account?" threads. -blam!-, why did YOU make your account? Why do YOU post in threads? Why do you care what my reasons are? (ok that question was a bit of a stretch, sometimes I actually get curious and indulge in those conversations)

Problem is there's nothing much to talk about...but I guess people still feel bored and make threads just to have stuff to talk about. But it's all weird, touchy-feely stuff.

I have a bad feeling that the flood will turn into the Community and vice versa.

We need to find better things to talk about and people need to stop taking out their boredom on other users.

In the many, many years I have lurked this site, I have noticed very little change in this forum. The Sun never sets here, Bungie is never truly dark in the Community Forum.

We should create a game or something.
Working on it.

(The group is a little dead because of the holidays/us communicating primarily through Skype/etc, but we'll pick back up soon when I get the prototype working properly and/or when we get some more people active within the group.)

As soon as Bungie release it's new game or some pics or start to talk about it's new project, all this BS will wash away, don't worry.

Yep, people are finding ways to make Drama to pass the time. It is really stupid. I can't wait till we get like a million new users, LOL.

I do see your efforts to post OT though, it's heartwarming.
Ex:Posted by: evilcam
OT: Plenty of "good guys" can get women. Not every woman has the same exact personality, or is a cookie cutter copy. Some women appreciate different things. If you're inherently a "nice guy" and can't find anyone to like you, try a different group of women. Or look at yourself once again and see if there's some other pressing issue which drives women away.
Posted by: evilcam
OT: I think it was an actual wasteland in the cannon. Humans had drained all the resources and destroyed the terrestrial Earth. I don't know though, I've never liked that show.
Posted by: evilcam
OT: No, I don't agree with that statement.

Lame inside jokes? So you're saying we can't tell good Bungie jokes outside? Where's the fun in that?

Rules stopping political discussion should be removed and/or relaxed during US presidential elections & especially should be now as there's not a huge influx of players as there's not a game coming out any time soon. It'd certainly spice up The Flood.

Sadly, this won't happen.
