so I got on Reach for the first time in months and got a message saying that both my Xbox and my account were banned from earning credits. I'm not sure if my roommates did something to cause this but it is my first ban and I was wondering if there is someone I can contact to lift the ban or how long it will last because it's been 3-4 days and although I can still play I would like to be able to level up

Cheaters shall be punished.
AFK-er's will be banned.

The Banhammer shows no mercy and if it finds you, which it will, expect to be punished for it cannot be fooled.

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/GameStats.aspx?gameid=88870 5158&player=Justin4404 - That is just one game I found which shows you going negative 70 somthing.

And before you say it wasn't you it's still you own fault for letting your "roommates" go on your account.

cR bans vary depending on the seriousness of the actions of the person/people involved. Could be 24 hours, could be 2 weeks.

This.. Just because you weren't at the console doesn't mean it's going to get overturned. You can blame your roommates and get mad at them if you want to.

Que Custodiet Ipsos Custodes

--Tea-baggers are funny, it's as if they think they are far more hetero than the people who do it in real life, because they use their e-ballsacks to do it. What a manly victory dance.
~ManBearPig_06~

For reference, the messages it displays are

24 hours or 1 week: "You have been temporarily banned from earning credits."

2 week: "You have been temporarily banned from earning credits for 2 weeks."

1 month: "You have been temporarily banned from earning credits for 1 month."

24 hours is almost always given for a first offense, and then subsequent ones are usually a 1 week ban, although if you do it enough, or are unlucky, you can be bumped up in time.
