Subject: Do you think we'll ever end up on another Halo?

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Title for reference. Yes, Master Chief is going toward a planet. However, this does not mean the new trilogy will be limited to one location. There are other Halos still out there. So, my question is, do you think we'll ever end up on another Halo ring at any point during the Reclaimer Trilogy?

I find this funny.

Yes, I think there will be more.

We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

I do. The game is called halo so why not? All though I like it better when the chief goes to planets.

There is probably going to be other halos

The possibility is there but for this game I don't think it'll happen

There are more Halos. That has been confirmed as fact. My question is whether you think Master Chief will end up on another Halo ring at some point during the new trilogy (Halo 4, 5, and 6).

We should know better, because we are better.

I bet we will see 03 or 07 in the next trilogy.

Don't do anything you wouldn't want to have to explain to paramedics. Trust me, I'm a pilot.

There are still 4 more Halos that haven't been explored, so I think it's definitely a possibility.

If a Grunt has a sticky stuck to his head, and no one is around to see or hear it, does it still run in circles screaming,"Get it off, Get it off !"?

I imagine we'll be opening up an entirely new can of worms with the Reclaimer Trilogy, and presumably visiting at least one of the 5 Halos we haven't been to.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Hopefully.

But wouldint that mean returning to our galaxy? Unless there were more spread across the Universe, which I doubt since the Forerunners influence was our galaxy.

I havent read Cryptum yet, so dont attack me if I'm wrong.

OMFG, IRIS states they are in the galaxy, the encyclopedia states they are in the galaxy, Cryptum states they never needed to leave the galaxy, common sense would tell you that they aren't in another galaxy.

Not sure, wasn't the station where Halsey was at the end of Glasslands around Installation 03?

According to the Halo Encyclopedia, Installation 01 has a "desert-like surface, limited atmosphere." 02 has a "water-based surface," with an unkonwn atmosphere/biology. 03 has a "volcanic surface and a desert atmosphere." 06 has a "tundra surface." All that is known about 07 is that it appears to be overrun with clouds. Sounds pretty cool, but I will always miss driving my warthog across the beach near the Silent Cartographer in Halo:CE; such fond memories.

Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,

I expect them to be referenced, at least.

I'd bit surprised/annoyed to end up on a Halo in Halo 4. They are starting a new story arc (and let's be honest, Halo is more the name of the series than the rings it involves). They should leave Halos (mostly) out of it to differentiate this new trilogy from the last, at least in the first game.

I would love to be tossed back on one much later down the road and experience the nostalgia of fighting for control, rather than the feeling of "Oh, this again."

Yes, definitely. I completely agree with this unless they somehow made it new, fresh, interesting, and fit well with canon in Halo 4. But, for the most part, I'd rather leave it for 5 or 6.

97% OF TEENS WON'T STAND UP FOR GOD. IF YOU'RE ONE OF THE 3% WHO WILL, PUT THIS IN YOUR SIG.
As comrades we have outlasted this storm known as life.
As allies we have fought through the fires across the depths of Hell. As friends we are victorious but as brothers we stand united. WE ARE RESURCTED!

Seeing as the Ark was destroyed I don't see how. I always assumed that destroying the Ark would cause a chain reaction. I could be wrong, but then the other rings wouldn't work properly anymore without a command center, so they'd probably be flood infested pits. I think 343 will attempt to bring a new spin to the next trilogy. I can't wait to see what they have up their sleeve!

I'm not positive on this, but I think Halos can still function without the Ark. Plus, I doubt the Flood are on all the Halos. That's pretty unlikely. Even if they were, it would still be pretty cool and I wouldn't mind fighting them again.

>Is still waiting for an Encyclopedia page number after a full year.

I sure as hell can't find it--and I read the book every now and then when I'm bored, which always gives me time to look. And since you told me to ask ojiip or whatever his name is, I'm going to assume you can't find it either.

The Ark isn't part of the Halo Array, why would the destruction of the Ark have a chain reaction with the other Halos? They're all still primed and ready to fire...

I am pretty sure one part in Cryptum mentions Arks.

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

I don't see why we necessarily have to, but if the TO still has his own personal Halo, maybe.

  • 01.05.2012 9:34 AM PDT

An old friend.

We'll probably visit them all. I think we're going to pay The Ark another visit which I personally can't wait for.

Initially the Halos were scattered using The Arks huge slipspace bubble as seen in Halo 3. I'm sure there is a way to recall them all and once they're in the same place just blow them all to kingdom come.

Remember the firing room where Truth died? One of the rings was red meaning they lost contact with it. I can see us revisiting that room and firing them all outside the range of the galaxy.

That wasn't the destroyed installation 04?
