In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Meh. I don't think it's that important to know exactly when someone is online. If you really need a moderator PM more than one.

We’re flawed because we want so much more. We’re ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had.

Wow, this would be really nice.

I'd rather not let everyone know how much time I spend on this website thank you.

Which is why you can toggle yourself to be offline by default if you'd like. Duh.

Let me ask, would YOU want a permanent indicator that shows everyone the moment you sign into Bungie.net?

This is why we have a report button...and the PM system.

I don't see a problem with that. A lot of forums have that feature, actually.

I actually would. If people wanted to PM me, they would know I was still online. If I needed to reach someone, it can be done quickly based on when I sent the PM at the right time they were online.

This is why we have a report button...and the PM system.

That can take a while and the PM system can be a long process if the people PMed don't come online for a while.

I mean, just like Gamertags, you should be able to censor it too. I know of other forums that use it on the profile page and it is really efficient. It is just an idea.

Na why do we need to know when and how much they are on?

Hell no.

I don't think it's needed to be honest.

I think it's a nice feature, but if it has a toggle on/off, I would almost certainly disable it. I've said it once and I'll say it again: we're ninjas. You'll know we're online when we want you to know. ;)

How does the report button work exactly? Does it send mods a pm or put a flag by the thread title or what?

I also would like to know if the reports by users are anonymous or if it says the name(s) of the person who reported it.

Someone doesn't like being pinged every time they post. :P

I actually appreciate it. :)

I just don't like being the one to initiate action. Heck, on MSN/Skype, I'm usually on invis. It's the rogue in me.

As far as the report button goes, just know that it's magic.

Online Indicator

That would be nice, and in addition there could be a subtle indicator on posts. When a person is online it could have the clear septagon logo(like the ones next to users on Halo 3) on their title bar. It'd be something sleek and simple and when people are ofline the image simply isn't there.

Closure. It eludes me yet again.
