The melee is too strong, and I don't know how little shielding it takes for me to die from a headshot while I still have a shield.
I would like the melee to be reduced in strength, and perhaps to remove the bullet bleedthrough, but other than that it's fine.
And after all the people saying it would fix Reach...lol.
I was never one of the people that said that. Improve, sure, but this game is too long gone to be properly fixed.
The double-melee sprint-punchers could have been completely eliminated by making the melee 75%. Now, I can die with a third of my shields with a single punch. That's after 3 DMR shots. Which is also how much it takes for a Sniper bullet to kill you. I don't know about you, but a punch should not be as powerful as a high-velocity AP 50 cal. round.
The DMR, Pistol and NR bleedthrough into headshots is an annoyance to me because I have no idea when I am considered "one-shot": what is the threshold of shielding that makes me die from a bleed-through headshot?
That style worked with the BR because it was a burst weapon; it was understandable that when you had low shields, you were at higher risk of dying because there are three bullets coming at you. It wasn't the first bullet that killed you; it was the bullets afterward, after the shield was broken. Also, you could put your head down and be able to run away because of the better hitboxes. The DMR's mechanics should be different than those of the BR and should NOT try to copy it exactly.
