Subject: There is a counter to sword sprint

I prefer trying the force, and when that doesn't work swearing profusely at my tv.

The way I countered it in Arena was to use the CR in conjunction with a teamshot. Maybe a few prenades for good measure. On Sword Base, GL works amazingly.

It's also easy to no-scope a guy sprinting at you with a sword because most of the time they run at you in a straight line.

If the person I'm running at doesn't have an assault rifle out i zig zag and jump while sprinting at them.

Zig-zagging is still relatively predictable because you can keep the reticle near the middle of the zig-zag and expect them to put their head there multiple times. Jumping is also a bad idea because it's really easy to line up a headshot when you're moving along a predictable arc.

It's better than sprinting in a straight line at them where you head is in the same position.
