I love the Campaigns in Both games. Pretty much the only problem I had with the Halo 2 campaign is that the Update didn't apply and I couldn't melee elites to death. But an issue I'd like to draw attention to is that in Halo 1 and Halo 2 whenever you increased the Difficulty your gameplay had to change and certain weapons became obsolete. For example, the AR in Halo 1 was fun until you got to Legendary, once there the AR did diddly JACK and you had to do something entirely different. In Halo 2, the sword is fun to use on the Covenant but in the Higher Difficulties(the only ones worth playing!!!) it is useless because it won't kill your enemies in one hit even with a perfect lunge, then the elite just backhands you with his Plasma Rifla and you're dead! I suggest that in Halo 3 no matter what weapons are in the game, that all of them will be useful on every difficulty. Also have more enemies deployed and in nearly random locations so that every time you enter an area you have a different fight no matter how many times you've beaten the level. Just some ideas. Tell me what you think and give me some of your gameplay ideas. Please keep it relatively realistic. Thanks.

The problem is that it's so much easier to make the game more difficult by simply giving a handicap to the player, as opposed to introducing more AI, which is basically like a new game.

I like the idea, though.

Yes but the 360 is capable and random drop points is already being implemented in EA's Paratrooper game. I think if all of the weapons stayed on a relative playing field, and only the handicaps were only applied to defense, it would solve the problem. Just like it's frustrating to put on a handicap in multiplayer so you die easier but it still takes 6 shots point blank to the face to kill someone. By that time they peppered you with the SMG a few times and you're dead.
