I'd sure like to watch him get in, to me that would be great film, pointless or not.I'll see if I can. I'm tired right now.
After 2 hours of failures, frustrations, and setbacks (would have been 3 if I didn't stop playing for 2 back to back classic episodes of Spongebob), as well as excessive hair pulling and swearing, I have finally finished my setup, which is over the top (the reason for this uncanny behavior), only losing 1 Heretic Elite in the process due to the sword lunge when I was trying to move a supply case (I killed 1 other, a Sentinel Beam wielder, but I believe him to be a territorial, or at least, unwilling to move on unless drawn closer to the door).
I can safely say as soon as I get all these videos showing the setup up, I am done with this project and I'll be retiring from H2. In fact, I was on the verge of cancelling it earlier... I faced multiple problems: lunging at Heretics when trying to move supply cases, ending up killing them, moving supply cases into position only to end up dying from enemy fire (Angry was off) or the supply cases disappearing from the sheer number, Heretic Grunts being killed by friendly fire, Heretic Elites jumping over the supply cases.
Anyways, the reason why I say it's over the top is because I now have a huge weapons cache in the lobby (I don't know the exact numbers): 3 fuel rod guns, 3 carbines, 7 plasma pistols, 9 plasma rifles, 4 sentinel beams, 6 needlers, and 2 beam rifles.
Here's a sample of my new gametype. I don't know what to call it. Catch kinda ruins the element of surprise that I had (although I didn't turn it on until I got the cp for this battle so I can easily prevent it) as the Elites throw grenades at the Heretics.
The story:
Arbiter must make a daring rescue mission of a Spec Ops team of Elites who were sent to the Gas Mine after Arbiter and his current team, they bearing the brunt of the Heretic reinforcements and the surviving members (now only 3 Elites) have managed to drive the Heretics back and have contacted their leader (Rtas Vadum) for assistance. Rtas has sent you in his place.
As for the Heretic leader, there's a canonical explanation for his presence:
As it turns out, the devious Heretic leader was waiting in ambush, having crashed his Banshee after fleeing and hid himself in the opposite door. Fortunately, the Phantom sent by Rtas has arrived, distracting him so you can sneak in unnoticed.
