Behold, my newest setup (5 Elites vs. 20+ Heretics).
Awesome! Would there be a way to switch the weightings aorund in the heretics favor? I know the heretics already have numbers, but perhaps handicapping the Spec Ops weaponry would result in a closer battle.Muhahahahaha!! Yes indeed, there is. I can give them uber shields and make them throw grenades like crazy, as well as giving them faster shield recharge rate. It's all in the tag known as matg (Globals). But for advanced stuff, like more stealth, diving, etc., I can't do any of that because of lack of decent modding programs.
I didn't think things like that were possible.

In a desperate attempt to get them to take out swords when stuck by grenades (without giving them Ultra Elite AI), as they weren't taking it out when I set it so that all Heretics could pull out swords, I gave them their leader's AI, who was the only one who took out a sword when stuck. The result?
CRAZY JUMPERS JUST LIKE CHIEFTAINS AND ZEALOTS!!! :D When they have the sword, they can do leap melees!
Their new capabilities:
-do seemingly unlimited leaps across the room
-sword pulling when stuck by grenade or needler shards
-diving from needler shards (they should be able to dodge plasma pistol overcharges and fuel rods but I haven't got any results from them yet)
-grenade throwing (I also made it so that the Easy difficulty grenade chance was the same as in Heroic difficulty)
And bonuses:
-stronger shields
-2x health thanks to Mythic skull
-all Majors thanks to Thunderstorm
-slightly stronger carbines
So they are a mixture of some of the most fun Elites in Halo 2: Ultra Elites, Zealots, Spec Ops Elites.
