"Awesomeness will ensue..."

BEN SPARTAN120

It's a pretty simple question, but a very charged one too, and I expect that I'll either:

A. Get a lot of feedback

or

B. Get very little feedback.

I'd hope that people can be honest about it, but I'm not sure that there would be anyone who would intentionally state that they post as much as possible, or create as many threads [repeat or otherwise] in the hope of reaching a higher member title.

I'm curious to say the least, given all this talk about member titles and their worth, questions about post counts and limits, not to mention I've seen that many repeat threads, it's not even funny anymore.

NOTE: Ironically, I've been posting a lot more lately than I have for some time, however, this is due to a lull in work, and an abundance of free time/boredom.

Another question that is perhaps an evolution of this one is:

How much does your member title mean to you?

That has yet to be asked, or indeed, answered.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Sometimes I post a lot to get my fabled.

I enjoy the discussion and the knowledge that my member title progresses as a bonus.

I have in the past, and recently on a whim decided to see what would happen if I played a campaign mission of each Halo game online (to change the last played date on my profile, it did nothing).

Apologies:

Allow me to clarify what I meant by account:

'Do you intentionally try rank-up your B.net account/Member title?'

Best of random chance

I think he was kidding about kidding.

I think we all understood that.

Who the hell do you think I am?

I like to be a part of discussions here. Titles are just a fun little thing.

Fix'd. :D

I post when I feel I have something to add or want to be part of the conversation. If the thread doesn't fulfill those needs I don't post.

Additionally, I will say that when I have more free time I find myself posting more. This is probably a result of my increased boredom when I'm free. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, just an observation.

Nope, there's no reason to do so. They're fun and all; but not something to get "stressed" over.

We’re flawed because we want so much more. We’re ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had.

No, I could care less if I was a "Member" or an "Super splendiferous pudding pop member." No wait, actually that sounds pretty bad ass never mind.

  • 01.06.2012 3:56 PM PDT

What you see with me is what you get. I would rather be hated for what I am than loved for something that I'm not.

I am who I am, not who you want me to be. Your approval isn't needed and your opinion isn't required or desired.

Nope.

Thinking with Portals since '07

Battlefield 3 sucks.

I used to. Ironically, when I actually intentiolly tried to, I would never rank up, but when I stopped trying, it worked!

I also lost my Honorable status a while back after a ban.

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

All the time.

Pretty sure it was a joke, Ken son.

Theme Builder 4.1 is out for Bungie.net!

Theme Builders

If I did then I wouldn't be posting because my title seems to only go up after long absences...

Although, stealing from Frankie. Giving out "Mister Chief" would be a pretty badass title in the higher ranks.

Note: It isn't a "rank" it's just a title.

I don't intentionally try to achieve a higher title, because I don't try to achieve a higher title, because I don't care about having a higher title. I enjoy doing what it takes to achieve a higher title (trying to positively impact the forums); therefor, I also enjoy trying to achieve higher title.

Short version: I don't try to achieve a higher title, but I enjoy trying to achieve a higher title.

It's complicated. Did you get what I'm saying?

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

Are you asking if I intentionally try to not get banned?

  • 01.06.2012 4:09 PM PDT

I do not do that.

How much does my member title mean to me? It means nothing to me.

That makes sense. In that light, I do enjoy ranking up.

2/15/12: Francisco Porras, I'll miss you. Rest in Peace.

Not necessarily, I just post whenever I want to post. I will say that when I post, I try to stay close to the rules to avoid a ban so that I won't loose my title.
