Subject: Does it not seem more like a Mature community now?

I suspect llamas are secretly wizards. I <3 poptarts n' milk. I like me. Grimick is defined as: a logical parodox, the act of funnaling a potato down your throat, and a deliciously flavored muffin (with pecons and blueberries). Norway is the Swedish word for 'moron'. My sister has cancer, so i get to use handicap parking and cut small children in line at Disneyland.

"Don't eat doughnuts on thin ice."

"The pancake, my friend, has officially been flipped."

Even though I practically live there, I can tell you right now that some people on The Flood are far from "mature."

This is too true.

To Make Posts is Glorious

Some threads will get posts before others and it is the duty of the Leadership to ensure that posts are made that best suit the public welfare.

I still think the flood is the same. Old habits die hard...
Why single out the flood on this matter? The septagon is probably even more guilty.

Staying the same? I agree to that as well.

Basically, I make the best topics ever.

Feedback!
Duardo: This thread is locked for being stupid.
cortana 5 : It's perpetually my time of the month and I'm just grouchy.
Foman: I see absolutely no reason, either theoretical or practical, that this is not a superb idea. Excellent work, my friend.

Immature members? Here?!

The Community Forum is where it's at. I love it. I feel closer to the community and I'm glad I stayed once Bungie went dark.

  • 01.07.2012 5:07 PM PDT

I prefer the forums when they're dark because good posts/threads don't get drowned out by other threads as often. It also means that some of the less good posts/threads linger around for longer but there needs to be a balance somewhere I guess.

The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.

The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.

As you waste your breath complaining about life, Someone out there is breathing their last. Appreciate what you have.

If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

I think the community is maturer than the rest of them, especially the flood, considering some of their topics they have made...

  • 01.07.2012 5:31 PM PDT

I just think that as Bungie becomes a bit more quite as there have been no new games or announcements or activity from bungie the amount of people in the forums has lowered and that therefore means only the truest bungie fans remain which are generally more mature people. That's my two cents.

The Quest for 52 is a group committed to helping players complete all of the weekly challenges in Halo: Reach. We are committed to providing a friendly environment and organized forum in which players can discuss strategies for completing the challenges, help others with the challenges, and above all have fun completing the challenges!

I'm an active member here that mostly stays in the groups system. Now that these forums appear to have more thoughts behind each post I'm slowly starting to visit the main forums more often. In other words, yes it seems more mature around here.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

This. And I wouldint have it any other way.

This place would loose its attractiveness for me if it were to suddenly grow up and become all serious. I come here for the jokes, laughs and weird things one may find. Immaturity is what I love of this place.

I agree. The most "mature" people I've found are in the Halo 2 fourms.

It is possible to commit no errors and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life.

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

The forums have not changed even remotely since I got here in 06. So no, it's not any more or less mature.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

For a moment perhaps. When we get more info on the new IP and new members flood the site, be prepared to go back to step one.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

Haha, I strongly agree fellow '06er.

Why are you reading my signature? Who actually opens these things and reads them!

And as always, SEND ME A PM. Please. Or really bad things will happen to you.

I'd say the forums are basically the same as they were in '05 when I first started lurking.

Didact's Reprisal -
Now is the time of our unworlding
One final effort is all that remains
And I am not afraid
We shall fulfill our promise
We fight for the grace of the Mantle
And this time none of you will be left behind

No, I have to disagree. More people sure/full of themselves, perhaps.

I suppose there is less bad spelling too.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

People such as this guy.

Wait, are you calling me immature, or am I misinterpreting this?

  • 01.07.2012 10:45 PM PDT

meh...

Though there are no troublemakers lately, the community forums are soooo quiet. One or two new posts every several hours...

Its like partnering a socially awkward nerd with a hot chick for a science project. On one side, people can't speak up properly and the others don't want to speak at all, but at some point things have to go somewhere...

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

People think things are mature here? Damn... I guess I'm going to have to step my game up.

No, but seriously, I'm not really sure. I've seen my fair share of bickering around here between the still standing members, so I don't really know what to believe.
