Subject: Does it not seem more like a Mature community now?

Not really.

To me it seems they are the same now as they where when I joined back in 2008.

Yeah I think you're right. The Halo fans are gone, the Bungie fans have stayed, and it has made Bungie.net a wonderful place.

How about a super special "Darkness" group that can work to maintain the maturity once the new IP is announced...and if the main forums become unbearable there is always somewhere to post where you know there wont be any trollin'.

Like the Illuminati.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Foman made this website for Destiny

But I would rather have an official one.

The Song Of Nephilim

Xenoblade <3

This community will never get to that level. I believe half of it are just 12 year old kids complaining about something. Yes, the halo forums are still there, but not much people visit them. I have encountered kids in the flood though...

I spend too much time here.. too much time indeed.

I tweet?

I'd say the amount of "immaturity" on these forums hasn't changed a bit, it's just scaled when a significant portion of our populous left with Halo. Don't fool yourself into believing anything has changed, you'll be crying uncle when all the new stupidity dog piles on you when info on Bungie's next title is released.

Not really.
We're at the end of an era, we can't expect new members coming here for Halo anymore, or until whatever's coming our way is released.
Sure, those who are still hanging around after a year of Halo Reach will have learned the ropes, but more mature on the whole?
Nah. Just aging.

You know our motto, We deliver!

I feel like some parts of Bungie have matured. Such as the Community thread. But The Flood forum has definately got considerably worse. So much that I don't go on it anymore. I used to use it a lot.

I still <3 the Forums though.

Even though I practically live there, I can tell you right now that some people on The Flood are far from "mature."

I think that might just be inherent to the nature of that forum.

Why did you click the more button? By accident? Reply is at the bottom...

Does this forum not seem more mature now that the Halo forums have been "tucked" away, and most of the immature complainers have left for halo.xbox.com.

I think the people who are left actually shows who the real dedicated community members are. I actually enjoy coming to the forums more than ever now.

Now, I just need to start meeting some of you people in real life to put faces on these online... beings. haha

It's like you tore page 7 and page 9 straight from my diary...

Wait...

OT: I agree completely :) Things, although quiet, have been really nice lately.

Why would you want it to change? It's practically a haven.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

To a certain extent, yes.

You people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.

Lost cause? If you think that then you are doing it wrong.
