Can anyone give me a good reason that they nerfed it? Im sure that everyone who has used it in reach has noticed that it sucks. In H3 it took a fair amount of skill to use against non-vehicle opponents. it was not over powered at all if you ask me, but maybe im wrong. but in reach the only practical way to kill a non-vehicle opponent is if they are standing still. what do you think, was it a good move to nerf it?

Laser is fine now. It was retardedly overpowered in Halo 3, it could skim a player/vehicle and still take it out.

I don't find it that much more difficult to use, I only hate the fact that it's in so few maps.

I agree with this, but I still hate how they nerfed the number of shots from 5 to 4.

wow, i guess i am totally against the norm in liking the H3 version so much! haha
But i just hate how spread out the damage is for the reach version, it makes it a difficult anti-personnel weapon. but i think that it is just as lethal against vehicles as it was in H3 minus the ammo nerf.

It isn't intended to use against ground personnel though. I don't mind it in that respect if that is what you are complaining about.

meh its fine, you shouldn't be wasting a charge on non-vehicles anyways. If you want to know whats bs is how the damn sniper rifle is op against ghosts and banshees

Yeah.

It's essentially worthless against infantry while being awesome with vehicles, as it should be! :D

And the fact you have to be super accurate on tanks or people now makes it my favorite weapon to use, even more than Halo 3s. But there just aren't enough maps with it.

Even still, it still does a wonderful job of ruining vehicle gameplay.
